Also the most expensive frame for frame too. This is a great experience overall. I especially liked the footage shown while you wait in line. It's full of references that foreshadow all the happenings of T-2. ("Cyberdyne - We're taking over the world of communications!") The effects are great, even if the story is a little contrived (Why bring John into the future anyway? He doesn't help any). The stage show blends perfectly with the on screen action. I've seen if four times and I still havent seen the transition. Definately worth the price od admission. Well, this and the Back to the Future Ride.
The similarities to ID4 are astounding, but this was made 10 years before hand, and was so much better, if not longer. However, to be longer, it has lots of filler. In order to fill 10 hours of television, the story delves very deeply into not all that interesting personal character development stories. Some are good, like when they abduct "Will", one of the aliens to try and find their weekness, but instead he becomes their friend. But some however just go one and one for ever. The ending is both ingenius and a coup out at the same time. If you're going to watch all ten hours, be prepared to some great television, but don't expect all that great of an ending.
What more could you want from a show? Sick twisted satire, Adam West, The "will-they-won't they" between Older Pete and Ellen, REM'S Michael Stipe, Artie, The Nightcrawlers and all of Little Pete's friends, The mulititude of Enemies: Pitstain, Endless Mike, Hathead, Papercut. All the characters had their own absurd uniqueness, be it burping, a steal plate in their head, sweating, new sneakers, or a special suit, and the the great stories (to many to mention) were so surreal with so many levels, this was definitely one of the coolest shows ever. And it was filmed in Jersey! Too bad Nickelodeon cancels any show as soon as it gets popular. Truly one of the best.
