Under obvious influence
Or when Werner Herzog meets Jim Jarmusch, or when DEAD MAN would be mixed up with AGUIRRE, or any Kelly Reichardt's film, but at a lesser scale. Pretty good little film, not for all audiences, but where the author director seems to be free to show what he feels from his heart. It is slow but never boring. An initiatory odyseey for an unusual character, but not so unusual for the French indie film industry. It is not the first of this kind. Rather sad without being totally gloomy.
