FBI Agent Victoria Travers seems to be some kind of adrenaline junkie. She has a habit of doing things her own way, risks be damned. And after once again bringing a suspect in without waiting for backup her boss Lockwood tells her she’s taking a vacation whether she likes it or not. Judging by the way she calls him a son of a bitch we can assume she doesn’t like it.
For reasons of budget, the film’s not Victoria’s, she, along with her husband Steve and their daughter Juliette (Alma Petra Vago) decide Romania is the perfect place to take a vacation. Except it’s not much of a vacation because almost immediately after they arrive she spots wanted criminal John Slater.
Despite being well out of her jurisdiction...

Former producer, exhibitor and sales agent Bill Gavin has died in Auckland after a short illness, aged 83.
“Bill Gavin’s long career touched on almost every aspect of the screen industry and he was great friend to the many filmmakers whose careers benefited from his touch,” the New Zealand Film Commission said.
A former journalist who covered motor racing in Auckland and internationally, his entrée into filmmaking came when he wrote the narration for John Frankenheimer’s sports drama Grand Prix, which starred James Garner, Eva Marie Saint, Yves Montand, Brian Bedford and Jessica Walter, in 1966.
In the early 1970s he moved into the music business, joining Gto in the UK where he managed a number of acts including Sweet and The New Seekers.

Amazon is developing a series loosely inspired by Sandra Bullock’s college years, Variety has learned.
Bullock will executive produce the series along with Akiva Goldsman and John Legend. K.C. Perry will write and executive produce. The series is described as a dramedy set in the world of music and dance. It will take place in the American deep south in the 1980s, where one darkly off-beat young woman defies expectations and sets out in search of love, community, and an identity of her own.
The idea for the series is said to have come from conversations between Bullock and Goldsman. Goldsman then brought in Marja Lewis-Ryan and Legend’s Get Lifted Film Co. to further develop the idea as a series. Lewis-Ryan is now focused on the “L Word” revival at Showtime and will therefore serve as consulting producer on the Amazon project. Goldsman and Legend previously collaborated on the Wgn America series “Underground.

Sandra Bullock’s college experience is the inspiration for a dramedy series set in the world of music and dance, which is in the works at Amazon. Bullock is executive producing the project with fellow Oscar winners Akiva Goldsman and John Legend executive produce the project, created by writer .
Created and written by K.C. Perry (Constance) loosely inspired by Bullock’s college years, the show is described as a hilarious, boundary-crossing, and often soul-wrenching trek through the oppressive cultural norms of the deep south in the 1980s, where one darkly off-beat young woman defies expectations and sets out in search of love, community, and most importantly, an identity of her own. It’s a fantastical, dance-filled journey, traversing the worlds of drag-culture, mental health, and the AIDS epidemic, all while following a group of young outcasts who band together and dare to be themselves, despite the very real danger they face in doing so.
