Master Raymond has returned to the Outlander series, and there is so much more to this character than meets the eye. The finale of Outlander season 7 placed Master Raymond at the center of its big twist, with Claire realizing that her daughter, Faith, may have lived after all. This revelation came just after Claire saw Raymond at her bedside in a vision, paying off the promise he made in Outlander season 2 that he and Claire would see one another again. There is still a lot of mystery surrounding this character, but the Outlander books have some answers.

Claire met Master Raymond back in Outlander season 2 when the man was working as an apothecary in France. The two developed a quick kinship, established by their shared love for healing and medicinal herbs and plants.

To celebrate the release of Cruel Universe #1, Daily Dead recently caught up with writer Corinna Bechko to discuss her story "Solo Shift," including teaming up with artist Caitlin Yarsky to bring the story's claustrophobic scares to life, working with Oni Press editor-in-chief Sierra Hahn, and her excitement for her new graphic novel The Space Between, which she created with artist Danny Luckert.

Exclusive: Jackson White (Tell Me Lies) has been tapped to star opposite Lily James in the upcoming film inspired by the story of Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd, from 20th Century Studios and Ethea Entertainment.

While it’s not entirely clear who White will be playing, we’re told he’s set for the part of Herd’s love interest. The untitled feature goes into production this year.

Pet Sematary has been sequelized, rebooted, and now with the arrival of Pet Sematary: Bloodlines it has a prequel. Adapting Stephen King’s works for the screen is a risky enough proposition, creating new stories based on them even more so as anyone whose seen a few Children of the Corn sequels or reboots can attest. King himself however seems to be happy with this film and tweeted:

“In the book, this is the story Jud Crandall tells Louis Creed to try and dissuade him from using the Pet Sematary,” wrote King. “The screenplay takes a few liberties, but it’s a fine story. David Duchovny is excellent. The secret, as always, is caring about the characters.”

Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, has signed with CAA in all areas.

The actress, musician and model made her acting debut with a guest starring role on Lee Daniels’ Star musical drama, while breaking into movies by starring opposite David Oyelowo and Joel Edgerton in Gringo.

Jackson’s credits include Habit, The Space Between and Sex Appeal, and she recently starred in Ryan Murphy’s anthology series American Horror Stories and Donald Glover’s Swarm horror comedy for Amazon Prime.

An all-new original film, new “Star Trek,” and all the “Jackass” you could possibly want are all coming to Paramount Plus in February. Below we’ve assembled a complete list of everything new on Paramount+ this month, including the premiere of “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 4 on Feb. 10.

On Feb. 11, the Joey King-fronted supernatural love story “The In Between” arrives as a Paramount+ original film – just in time for Valentine’s Day.

In terms of library titles, three seasons of “Jackass” and five of the “Jackass” movies are available for streaming in concert with the release of the new film “Jackass Forever” (which is currently a theatrical-only release). Pam and Tommy is set to premiere on Feb. 2. Perhaps the Groundhog Day release date is intentional as the show will cover a particular moment of celebrity, sex, and exploitation from the early ’90s that seems to have repeated itself over and over. Sebastian Stan and Lily James star as Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson and the series follows the events and fallout of their homemade sex tape being stolen and unleashed on a nascent internet. If nothing else, getting the promo photos of Stan and James as the ’90s stars was worth it.

Paramount Pictures has revealed an official trailer for a dramedy titled The Space Between, marking the feature directorial debut of producer Rachel Winter. Kelsey Grammer stars as an aging, gone-mad rock musician named Micky Adams in this "inspiring coming of age story," set during the iconic '90s LA music scene. The story focuses on a young man making his way in the music business who befriends Micky when he's sent to force him out of his contract. An interesting concept that seems lost in the 90s, but here is it is anyway getting a release in 2021.
