The three separate police departments' investigations soon find a way into each other's back yards and start working the cases together. - Three young women are murdered in the three Eastern European cities of Odessa, Warsaw and Prague, all bearing the same brutal signs of violence. The investigators suspect that the three murders are connected. However, co-operation between the detectives, Ukrainian policeman Serhij Franko, Polish detective Maria Sokolowska and Czech detective Viktor Seifert, is complicated as all three are also struggling with personal problems. Nevertheless, they soon realize that they are dealing with a deranged serial killer who is operating on an international level. The trail leads to dodgy businessmen, their lawyers, corrupt politicians and professional killers. But what connects Odessa, Warsaw and Prague?
