There were a ton of awards handed out at the VMAs this year, but not many of them were actually presented on television.

Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan were among the big winners of the night at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday (September 11) at the Ubs Arena in Elmont, New York.

At the end of the show, the full list of winners was made available and we can reveal all the award winners you didn’t see on TV.

Taylor was the most-nominated artist of the year with 12 nominations, including nine noms for her “Fortnight” video.

The soccer star appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to discuss his career and Netflix documentary Beckham, but took the opportunity to explain how the iconic British girl group came back together.

The English girl group Spice Girls have been featured on the UK’s Royal Mail postage stamps.

The UK’s Royal Mail will issue stamps this month as a small way of celebrating the Girl Power pack’s 30th anniversary.

The mail service’s bounty includes stamp sets, posters, postcards and collectables, with each piece available from January 11, reports ‘Billboard’.

The top prize is the ‘Spice Girls Gold Stamps Set’, presented as a limited-edition featuring the issue’s stamps layered in 24-carat gold, and priced at $190.

As per ‘Billboard’, the campaign, which celebrates the ‘UK’s biggest-ever girl group’, marks the first time the Royal Mail has dedicated an entire stamp issue to a female pop group.

The 10 main stamps include images from the Brit Awards in 1997, featuring Ginger Spice in her iconic Union Jack dress, and their performance at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

Three more contestants have been eliminated from The Debut: Dream Academy!

Hybe x Geffen Records announced the next three contestants eliminated from the global girl group audition program on Sunday (November 5).

The elimination comes after the show’s third mission, where the focus was to demonstrate artistry while executing various musical concepts.

The remaining 13 contestants were split into three groups. one group performed Demi Lovato’s “Confident”, one performed The Pussycat Dolls’ “Buttons”, and one group performed Spice Girls’ “Wannabe.”

The third elimination followed the Mission #3 performance videos, resulting in the top 10 contestants who will participate in the November 17 live finale event.

The show began with 20 contestants from around the world competing for a spot in the first-ever Hybe x Geffen Records global girl group, marking the first time a major U.S. record label and a K-pop entertainment leader have combined their powers to form a group.

K-pop competition series “The Debut: Dream Academy” has solidified its top 10 contestants after eliminating three more musical hopefuls on Sunday. After the program’s third mission, Ua (Japan), Nayoung (South Korea) and Celeste (Argentina) were eliminated.

The program’s third mission split contestants into three groups that performed different pop songs. One group sang Demi Lovato’s “Confident,” another performed The Pussycat Dolls’ “Buttons” and the third delivered the Spice Girls’ “Wannabe.” The third elimination followed the performance videos for Mission 3.

We won’t sit here and pretend One Direction had the same cultural impact as The Beatles.

The Fab Four churned out dozens of top-100 songs during their short time together, tunes that still stand as some of the best ever.

James Corden stepping down from The Late Late Show means he’ll also be saying goodbye to Carpool Karaoke. Before the comedian bows out, however, he convinced K-pop superstars Blackpink to cram into the car for a round of singalong magic.

In between their own hits like the Born Pink cut “Pink Venom,” “Ddu-du Ddu-du,” and “How You Like That,” Blackpink covered ’90s classics like TLC’s “No Scrubs” and Spice Girls’ “Wannabe.” Corden also helped the group decide which members would be Aussie Pink, Boss Pink, Shy Pink, and Nails Pink.

In addition, Blackpink spoke to Corden about the rigorous training system that made them the superstars they are today. Besides that, the quartet attempted to add to their list of world records by taking a shot at surpassing the fastest time to assemble Mr. Potato Head, doing the most handclaps in one minute, and removing the most Jenga blocks in a minute.

Blackpink buckled up for some music and world record attempts with James Corden on the latest installment of The Late Late Show’s “Carpool Karaoke.”

HBO has released the official trailer for its five-episode limited series “White House Plumbers,” set to debut on May 1. The series will take viewers on a “behind-the-scenes” look of the Watergate scandal, starring Nixon’s political saboteurs, E. Howard Hunt (Woody Harrelson) and G. Gordon Liddy (Justin Theroux). Set in 1971, both Hunt and Liddy have just been hired by the White House to investigate the Pentagon Papers leak when they end up landing on the committee to re-elect the president. “White House Plumbers” aims to pull back the curtain to the events that led up to one of America’s most infamous political crimes.

Monolit Film, the Danish banner behind “The Great Silence,” is developing “Wannabe,” the feature debut of “Bad Bitch” director Patricia Bbaale Bandak, and “After the Sun,” a dystopia based on a short story featured in The New Yorker in 2021.

“Wannabe,” which was pitched at the Nordic Film Market in Goteborg as part of the Discovery program, is inspired by Bbaale Bandak’s own life. The film follows Patricia, a 13 year-old Ugandan refugee who moves into an underprivileged town of Denmark. Over the course of a summer in 1995, Patricia, who is eager to fit in, joins a group of girls to participate in a look-alike music contest launched by a popular kids TV show.
