We Get to Know Bonnie
Three focuses in tis episode. One is Annalise trying to get enough clients from botched public defender cases to get a practice going, focusing on that population. The second, and most highly involved, is Bonnie, going to Isaac under a phony name, because she was rejected by Annalise. Annalise gets thwarted, and remembers when Bonnie played a critical part in her career. Thirdly, Laurel has again talked two people into hacking into her friend's newly found law firm. It is serious, risky business. More flash forwards, one of them involving Asher.
Back to the quality of the first 2 seasons
I loved htgawm season 1 and 2. They were unpredictable perfectly paced and engaging with interesting characters and great acting. Season 3 was good. Not amazing, but good. I didn't find the plot as engaging or characters as interesting, it just lost me a bit.
But now season 4 has the potential to be just as amazing as season 1 and 2. Wow. This episode was an excellent piece of television. We get an interesting origin story for bonnie not only explaining how she ended up here, but the entire friction between her and annalise relationship is explained. We have seen annalise and Bonnie be there for each other and promising to kill one another. Now we see the middle ground: there is love there, but it doesn't stop them getting at each other. Its brilliant and interesting relationship that we delve deep into this episode

I hate Bonnie
With the previous three seasons' great plot, season 4 is turning awfully.
