At the beginning of the movie, the 3 red, green & white stockings on Amy's fireplace are filled. When her parents arrive several scenes later, 3 different (red & white) & empty stockings are hanging on the mantle.
In the trampoline Park, Amy hits her mother, Ruth, in the crotch with a dodgeball. When the scene pans back there are no dodgeballs anywhere in front of Ruth when she falls.
(at the 37m43s mark) When Amy starts throwing dodge balls at her mom, her hair is up. In the next shot, her hair is down.
When Amy is driving her van with the family to see the nutcracker, you can see her registration in the windshield. It says the expiration date is 11/17. It's supposed to be 2 days until Christmas of 2017. Her registration is expired.
In the first scene, Jessie arrives and brings Amy's kids into her house. It's supposed to be December 18, 2017 and he tells her "The Bulls won." However, through the windows we see its still bright and sunny (despite it being one of the days of the year with the smallest amount of daylight), which would establish the time as close to noon. The Bulls didn't play until 7pm that evening (although they did beat the 76ers.)
On Christmas morning Carla is home with her son and she's drinking from a big cup from RaceTrac - a gas station in the Southeast. The film supposedly took place in Chicago where no RaceTrac gas stations exist. Movie was filmed in Atlanta where RaceTrac is headquartered.
When Amy's parents arrive, her mother mentions that she didn't know Rite Aid made Christmas decorations. Rite Aid does not have any location in the Chicagoland area, where the film is set.
