The reports on this anime were unfortunately true, it is just so disappointing because it had such a great English Dub cast and animation. However it had very slow CGI effects involved in this anime in which they were just rather gullible and slow. As well with having a fast paced storyline, it was rather too quick to understand what was going on and theyd be bringing out new characters so suddenly in which you be like "eh?" lol.
I honestly didn't care about the bad rating or others opinions, I just wanted to see for myself regardless. Since this anime was made by JC staff who destroyed the 2nd season of One Punch Man, they have absolutely made this too into a poop hole!

Ok let's get one thing straight: This was NOT a terrible anime. I'm giving it a 7/10 for the following reasons:
1. Graphics are AWESOME --comparable to Unlimited Blade Works. 2. Story was interesting enough to keep me hooked past the first episode. 3. Protagonist isn't the typical "why is this happening to me, I don't want any part of this." After a little explanation, he was able to acknowledge that he had become a part of a bigger world, and he knew that whining about it won't do anything.
Honestly, number 3 would have been the deal-breaker. I'm so sick and tired of male anime protagonists constantly whining about the situation they were in, and would constantly act over-dramatic like they were void of any common sense and reason.
The first reviewer said that the story was too fast-paced. Well, the season had 12 episodes. In my opinion, it was great that they started out guns blazing, instead of taking up the first 4 episodes and filling it up with flashbacks and unnecessary character development.
Overall, this is a fun anime to watch. It may not be legendary tier, but it certainly is better than most action anime out there.

This is not a good series. It is plastic and shallow. It hard to describe why this series fail but I'll give it a shot.
The overall story is okay, it has potential. However the lessons and philosophy the series put forth are shallow and when one think of the people spouting them they seem off point to a large degree. Visually the character designs are okay yet you've somehow seen them all before, this is just the scuffed versions of them. The origin of each character is very bland and the writers even make fun of this themselves. It also seems to me that their personalities are not constant, as if their personalities are whatever the writers decide that day to make it work in the current episode.
Also there is a lot of petty portrayals of America and its people for some reason. I guess the writers are still salty because of a certain event many years ago. Of course you should be free to spout your opinions but don't expect to make a great anime when you do and its strange the people that invested money in this series are treated as your mouthpiece. It's selfish really. You are alienating a large portion of your audience. I'm not American but even I felt awkward watching all these petty scenes.
Also, the animation seem lazy at many times. I just finished the last episode and there are many animations that are just repeated with a floating camera view. You can see the animators was really pushing a deadline.
I do not recommend you watch this, its a waste of time.

This anime is quite good not best but good. It has it's moments. Don't give crap about the reviews.watch it if you no legendary shows to watch like attack on titan. I liked it though.
Eng Dub ruined by Monica Rial's one tone VA voice
With Funimation being almost the only VA ENG Studio in USA having to hear 90% of dubbed anime is like only having to watch Peewee Herman movies all day long.
Hopefully, though this was subbed a while back they stop using her in every single anime since her voice like Peewee's is so grating.
