Netflix’s fifth and final original Christmas movie for 2024 is now streaming, and this one is animated. But you’re still going to recognize a whole lot of the cast.

Written and directed by Richard Curtis, who brought fans “Love, Actually,” the film centers on a group of people in a small town in the UK, getting ready to celebrate Christmas. Like “Love, Actually,” the story is told via vignettes, jumping around between different groups and pairings.

And as you meet those groups and pairings, you’re definitely going to recognize some of those voices. Here’s who we have.

Prime Video breakout hit Gen V made a debut season hit with millions of views. The popular series is a spin-off of another Amazon Prime Original, The Boys. Based on the antiheroes and superheroes turning villains, both the series were a smash hit. And there was a lot of hype for season 2 of Gen V, but amidst all the hype, tragedy struck. Famous actor Chance Perdomo passed away in a motorcycle accident. Following his passing, fans were worried about what would happen to his character, who was one of the leads. Chance Perdomo, best known for his work on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Gen V, has tragically died following a motorcycle accident.

He was 27 years old.

According to Deadline, no other individuals were involved.

“His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest,” reads a statement from the actor’s family and representatives.

“We ask you to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”

Perdomo broke through as part of the main cast of Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, playing Ambrose Spellman, the cousin of the titular teenage witch.

Chance Perdomo’s career was on the rise

Following the cancellation of the Riverdale spinoff in 2020, he moved on to the After movie franchise, appearing in three movies.

The actor was on his way to Toronto to attend the table read of the second season of Gen V, which was scheduled to begin filming on April 8. Perdomo played the role of Andre Anderson in the film. The authorities have confirmed that no other individuals were involved in the tragic crash that killed the actor. Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television released a joint statement, mourning the loss of a loving member of their Gen V family.

The actor died as a result of a motorcycle accident, his representatives told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement. Nobody else was involved in the accident.

“His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest,” a statement from his reps said. “We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”

Most recently, Perdomo starred in Prime Video’s The Boys spinoff, Gen V, which saw him take on the role of Andre Anderson, a popular student at Godolkin University who is capable of magnetically manipulating things.

“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this,” the producers of the series shared in a statement.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in England, Chance Perdomo was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his starring role in the BBC Three drama Killed by My Debt.

Sabrina has a cousin from England!

According to Deadline, Netflix's upcoming Sabrina the Teenage Witch has cast another slew of actors in roles that sound very exciting.

First up is Chance Perdomo, who will take on the role of Ambrose Spellman aka Sabrina's warlock cousin from England. He is placed under house arrest by the Witches Council.

The character is not allowed to leave the home he lives in with the Spellmans. He has a strong bond with Sabrina, and the report certainly makes it seem like the pair is inseparable.

The report also states that Ambrose is pansexual.

Sabrina will mark the first American role for Perdomo, who has an IMDb page that boasts the likes of Midsomer Murders and Hetty Feather.

Horrible Histories could be heading to success at this year's British Academy Children's Awards after being nominated in three categories.

The programme leads the nominations with nods in the Comedy and Writing categories, while Jessica Ransom is also nominated in the performer category for her turn as Mary, Queen of Scots.
