Warner Bros. Entertainment filed a claim against Emmett/Furla purporting writers Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore and their manager, Adam Goldworm, had stolen the idea for the project from Westworld (2016) (the earliest source for both was likely Westworld (1973)).
While the overall scenario has some similarities to Westworld (1973) and the original source novel by Michael Crichton, there is no official connection.
Dozens of name actresses were up the lead role, but Producer Randall Emmett cast his wife, Ambyr Childers, in the lead role while also hiring several of his mistresses who had their ring fingers tattooed with the initials "RE".
Charlotte Kirk was personally cast by Randall Emmett and forced on the director and producers who advocated for several other known and qualified actresses. She was later cast in two additional Emmett/Furla produced films. In March 2019, Kirk was notoriously implicated in a sex scandal involving Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara, which forced him to step down on March 18th, 2019.
