Cph:dox, the documentary film festival based out of Copenhagen in Denmark, has revealed the jury winners for its 2025 edition. Audience Award prizes will be announced in April.

More than 90 feature films screened in Copenhagen this past week, including the European premiere of Sundance favorites like “The Perfect Neighbor,” directed by Geeta Gandbhir, whose bodycam-based documentary about a wrongful killing in Florida in 2023 is positioned as one of Netflix’s forthcoming top awards contenders this year. Also bowing in Copenhagen were Amy Berg’s music doc “It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley,” Amber Fares’ portrait of Israeli comedian Noam Shuster-Eliassi with “Coexistence, My Ass!” David Osit’s “Predators,” about the rise and fall of NBC’s controversial documentary TV series “To Catch a Predator,” also bowed at Cph:dox and will be released by MTV later this year.

Five and a half hours after it began, Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal has finally ended. After teasing some big X-Men returns, the video concluded with a chair for Pedro Pascal's Mister Fantastic before a door opened, and Robert Downey Jr. took his seat.

A piece of music played that we have to believe will be Doctor Doom's theme in the upcoming movie; it's epic, foreboding and, as Marvel Studios has said on social media, "It all leads to Doom." It's fitting then that we got Reed Richards right before him.

One of the biggest talking points after today will be the names not included here. There's no Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Mark Ruffalo, or Elizabeth Olsen, for example; perhaps those are surprises or being saved for a future announcement.

Superman, releasing in July 2025, is absolutely stacked with characters. However, there’s been some discourse over whether this is a good thing or a bad thing. Let’s get into it!

In the movie, we know that Superman/Clark Kent (obviously), Krypto, Lois Lane, Ma Kent, Pa Kent, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, Metamorpho, The Engineer, Lex Luthor, Perry White whoever the large man in all black is, and now, possibly Supergirl are in the movie. That’s thirteen characters in the film which is certainly quite a few, and that doesn’t count other characters we don’t know about yet but who will likely have less screen time.

This summer's blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine is coming to Blu-Ray on Oct. 22 with two versions of the Steelbook cover art being revealed.
