Another John Green film adaptation is on the way -- this one set to premiere on Netflix.
The streaming giant has acquired the global rights to Green’s Christmas rom-com Let It Snow, Deadline reports. Green, of course, is one half of YouTube’s beloved VlogBrothers channel, and the novelist behind The Fault In Our Stars and Paper Towns -- which were also turned into feature films.
Let It Snow, however, is a fix-up novel that Green wrote alongside Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. (A fix-up novel consists of individually composed works by different writers that are compiled together and edited in hindsight to create synergy). The book is about a once-in-a-century snowstorm that hits a small town on Chirstmas Eve, uncovering unexpected opportunities and complications for several high school seniors, testing their friendships, love lives, and future aspirations.

Married vlogger duo Jess and Gabriel Conte, who frequently discuss their Christian faith on their popular social channels -- which reach 10 million followers across all platforms -- have released their first Christmas Ep titled I’ll Be Home.
And even before Thanksgiving has come and gone, the couple’s fans are clearly hungry for some holiday cheer: the album hit the No. 1 position on the iTunes 'Holiday' charts, as well as No. 8 in albums overall. It is currently No. 2 on the Holiday charts, second to Pentatonix's Christmas Is Here! I’ll Be Home, priced at $6, features five Christmas standards: "Let It Snow," "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Oh Come All Ye Faithful," "Feliz Navidad," and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."
The Contes have collaborated musically on three previous EPs: an acoustic pop cover franchise called Under The Covers (which has yielded two volumes to date) and Greater, an album of worship covers.

Rob Heaps (Imposters), Zach Roerig (The Vampire Diaries) and Paul Fitzgerald are set as series regulars opposite Willa Fitzgerald, Herizen Guardiola and Marlo Kelly in the USA Network pilot Dare Me, from Universal Cable Productions and Film 44. In addition, Joyful Drake (Let’s Stay Together), Tammy Blanchard, Antonio J. Bell (Nigerian Prince) and Alison Thornton (Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce) round out the cast in key recurring roles.
Based on the acclaimed novel by Megan Abbott, who serves as writer and executive producer along with Gina Fattore, Dare Me is an unflinching exploration of volatile female friendships, jealousy, loyalty and the dynamics of power in a small Midwestern town. Peering behind the all-American façade, the series dives into the cutthroat world of competitive high school cheerleading, following the fraught relationship between two best friends after a new coach (Fitzgerald) arrives to bring their team to prominence.

Talk about a Flashback Friday!
Nick Lachey shared a hilarious photo from his boy band days in 98 Degrees on Instagram Friday. “Found this on an article titled ’25 boy band shoots that went horribly wrong.’ Do you think it was the leopard print chair or the overalls?” the singer asked his over 500,000 followers.
The ever-so ’90s ensemble is a stark contrast to Lachey’s present day wardrobe – except perhaps for his sequinned outfits from his season on Dancing with the Stars months ago when he competed on the ABC dancing competition with his wife Vanessa Lachey.

It might be around 80 seconds shorter than the 88-second Star Wars teaser and probably required significantly less CGI, but the first look at George Clooney’s upcoming appearance in a Downton Abbey charity special could well cause a competitively high amount of excitement or screams. Released by U.K. broadcaster ITV, the clip shows Lady Cora discussing a dinner invitation with the back of someone we’re led to believe is Hugh Bonneville’s character, Lord Grantham. var brightcovevideoid = '2888739511001'; Most people's Black Fridays involve frantically throwing money at merchants, but last Friday, a few lucky Mall of America patrons were the ones being pelted with currency. As a trio of vocalists sang "Let It Snow," Serge Vorobyov, aka Serge the Car Hauler, lobbed $1,000 in dollar bills on the assembled crowd from the top of an escalator. He stamped each of the bills with the URL for his YouTube channel beforehand, which is a pretty effective form of marketing, we suppose. However, he did receive a security citation for his actions, which may offset the net...
