After watching this short, I still stand by Alien abduction films forever scaring the life out of me. I recently had the privilege to watch a new short film making its way through upcoming film festivals and it did not disappoint! The film follows a psycholgoist Dr. Weaver who attempts an overnight study on a woman named Alice. Alice claims that she's been abducted by extraterrestrials multiple times. While her husband admits to have never been abducted. Things take a severe jaw-dropping turn when the study takes place. At the start of the film you get a heavily feeling that something is just very off with this couple. As Dr. Weaver starts her study you slowly get uncomfortable with the unknown of what's to come. But when the reveal is shown it's something you will not be able to get out of your head. I was physically left stunned. I felt so uneasy and sick that I couldn't believe what I was watching. This film succeeds so well because the build up leads perfectly to an explosive finale. Ashley BeLoat as Alice blew me away, and really set the mood for this film. Alice Skok truly made her mark in this short as an up and coming screen queen. As a whole, the cast worked very well together giving the viewers one intense watch. The fact that this is only twenty three minutes is truly insane.
