The first film shot entirely in the Manx Language.
None of the three main actors spoke any Manx. They learned their lines like a song, from a CD recorded by a dialect coach.
The dialect coach was on set at all times to make sure there were no mistakes.
CinemaNX funded the short film "Solace in Wicca" in return for the rights to remake it as a feature length film.
John-Rhys Davies was offered the role of the Bishop - he declined a week before principle photography. Wayne Kelsall was brought in the replace him, and had to learn his 15 pages of dialogue in Manx Gaelic in just a few days. He had never spoken the language before.
