Featured review
'The Kujus Again' opened up to a pleasant ambiance giving us a smooth introduction from where we left off in part one. We were able to see the changes that occurred in each character's life, everything was going well.
Sadly, the joy was short-lived as the scenario began to slowly crumble with an uneventful and cliche plot centered on Kunle Remi's surprise😔
The absence of the kids from part 1 already created a big void, as if that wasn't enough exciting people like Femi Jacobs, Benjamin Touitou (playing a fashion designer), and Chris Iheuma (playing Otunba) were quickly erased from the script. This may have been caused by schedule conflicts in real life, but still on still, we're an audience waiting to be entertained, not trying to figure out why this and that character was absent.
Don Jazzy's role added no zest, he was just being Don Jazzy rather than bringing a new vibe to the story.
Abiola Ladipo's constant use of excess smoke in the scenes greatly tampered the cinematography. The dialogues and sequence of events lacked the vigor and richness from 'Introducing The Kujus'.
It's becoming overwhelming to see Biodun Stephen coming out with so many movies that lack finesse and substance. Focus should be placed more on quality than quantity😔
