Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise is better than the first game. It has a lot more options than the previous game with new piñatas, new plants to grow and new ways for players to play with their gardening skills. And the game improved and took time for piñatas to come to the garden. The one thing to say about what the game is truly about is instead of telling a story using storybook in the journal, it follows that up as Professor Pester has schemes to prevent piñatas to come to the player's garden. The story does follow up very well after Pester betrayed Jardinaro's family. He tries to mess up the gardener's hard work. At the same time though, I do think the Panther King and Gruntilda are better villains than Pester. Even if it has upgrades from the first game, there are things that are the same both good and bad. On one hand, some of the designs on the sour piñatas look a little outdated and some of them can get a little tough to change them. But on the other hand, the graphics are better than the quality of the series. And the game is very colorful. So overall, it's better than the first game and has made gardening simulation more fun.
