More often than not, especially in the wealthier parts of this world, having a child is an act of hope. For married couples, it’s a very obvious, very expensive way of renewing their vows — a leap of faith. Some people might have a kid as a desperate means of suturing their relationship together, but nobody does it expecting to get divorced. That’s what makes it all the more devastating when they do.
As sharp and savage as any breakup drama this side of “A Separation,” Joachim Lafosse’s “After Love” is the story of two people who are forced to live in the rubble of their 15-year relationship. By the time the film begins, the affection between Marie Barrault (“The Artist” star Bérénice Bejo) and Boris Marker (“Wild Life” director Cédric Kahn) has already curdled into something toxic; whatever wounds they’ve inflicted on each other have already...

Saturday Am Update: With an estimated $12.2 million on Friday, Sully is off to a great start, looking at a three-day opening that could top $34 million. The film also took home an "A" CinemaScore from opening day audiences and with an opening this big we're looking at the third best live-action opener for Tom Hanks and possibly the fifth largest September opening ever. Pulling in second with an estimated $5.28 million is Screen Gems' thriller When the Bough Breaks, which is looking at a three-day opening around $14.5 million if not a little higher. Lionsgate's animated feature The Wild Life could only manage an estimated $700,000 from 2,493 theaters, headed toward an opening around $2.6 million. Guy and Howard Lawrence appear to have been quite focused on their 2016 Wild Life tour, resulting in next to nothing in the way of new music from Disclosure since their last album. That might all change, however, because they just debuted an as-yet-unreleased track during their performance at Light Nightclub in Las Vegas.
While sound design subtleties and lyrics are difficult to make out from the recording, the song appears to have more of a singalong anthem quality than most of what Disclosure puts out. Be that as it may, its melodic bass lines still hint at the duo’s unmistakable style.
Disclosure‘s 2015 album, Caracal, made for a satisfying follow-up to their 2013 debut effort, Settle. The Lawrence brothers are no strangers to brief experiments, but if the track is any indicator of what’s to come, then their third effort might see them redefine their sound.

Two beloved UK outfits have just announced plans to tour together stateside. Gorgon City and Rudimental may fall on two polar opposite ends of the electronic music spectrum, but they will join forces on a live tour comprised of five dates throughout the USA late in the spring of 2016.
Rudimental has made a name for themselves by playing the accessible sort of drum and bass that’s been dominating UK airwaves in recent years. Gorgon City, on the other hand, derive most of their infectious sound from garage and house. What both groups share in common is highly engaging live shows – and while each have played for American audiences before, this will be the first time they do so in tandem.
Of course, Rudimental is no stranger to working with artists outside the drum and bass sphere. In June they will be headlining the second annual Wild Life along Disclosure,...

It’s confirmed; Disclosure and Rudimental’s very own festival Wild Life will return in 2016, kicking off across two days over the summer. The event began as a show series in 2014 with several successful dates in key cities like Miami and Vegas, before being elevated to full blown festival status last year thanks to the UK duo with help from Rudimental.
2016’s edition of Wild Life is set to take place at Brighton City Airport, spanning June 11 and 12. No details have been released yet regarding the lineup, but if last year’s eclectic roster (which included the likes of Wu Tang Clan, Seth Troxler, Gorgon City and more) is any indication, festival goers can expect some choice performers to make the cut.

Disclosure recently announced their sophomore album Caracal, and now Lorde has tweeted about a possible collaboration with the UK house duo. If it’s true, the indie queen might just break the internet.

This wouldn’t be the first time Lorde has teamed up with Disclosure, in 2014 she appeared with the Lawrence brothers to perform a mashup of “Royals” and “White Noise” at the Brit awards.
As of now, it’s anyone’s guess as to whether this collaboration will appear on Disclosure’s Caracal or Lorde’s upcoming follow up to Pure Heroine. However, last weekend at Wild Life Festival, Disclosure announced a heavy roster of collaborations on their forthcoming album, and it’s quite likely Lorde would fit right in amongst Gregory Porter, Lion Babe, Kwab, and Nao.

This weekend was a big moment for Disclosure, the UK house duo comprised of brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence. At Wild Life Festival, the duo teased a new track called “Jaded,” before unveiling the forthcoming release of their sophomore work, entitled Caracal. And during their live show at Manchester’s Parklife Festival, Disclosure played two more songs from the upcoming release, and they were captured by fans on video.
Though the video is sub-par quality, it’s enough to get us excited about the direction taken for Caracal. From what we can tell, the new album follows the tried and true formula of Disclosure’s chart-topping Settle.
The first of the two videos captures the live performance of “Hourglass” featuring Lion Babe. It packs the familiar driving bass we’ve grown to expect from Disclosure, supplemented with wavering synths and atmospheric pads to polish off the track. “Super-Ego” is the...

A self-acknowledged "showcase for Academy Award frontrunners," the Santa Barbara International Film Festival is often overlooked for the actual films that earn it festival status. The 2015 edition offers another expansive selection, bookended by two films that aren’t on any radars just yet. Sbiff will open with "Desert Dancer," producer Richard Raymond’s directorial debut. Starring Reece Ritchie and Frieda Pinto, the drama follows a group of friends who wave off the harsh political climate of Iran’s 2009 presidential election in favor of forming a dance team, picking up moves from Michael Jackson, Gene Kelly and Rudolf Nureyev thanks to the magic of YouTube. The festival will close with "McFarland, USA," starring Kevin Costner and Maria Bello. Telling the 1987 true story of a Latino high school’s underdog cross-country team,...

This week’s show aired on Memorial Day. I would be remiss if I didn’t give a special mention to those service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. I know this day is about remembrance but I’d also like to salute all those who are currently serving this great nation. I hear from many soldiers who are proud members of Bachelor Nation. I love that this show can entertain and give you even a moment of rest from the great service you provide our country. It’s not nearly enough but, thank you.

Eric kept expressing how ecstatic he was the whole time. They ended off things with a nice long, deep conversation that appeared to go quite well. Next, Andi took the guys: Nick S., Bradley, Brett, Dylan, Pat, Marcus, Carl, Craig, Josh, Marquel, Ron, Tasos, Cody, and Brian out on a group date to the Ohm night club on Hollywood and Highland, so the guys could do striptease dances for charity. Then during the after party, they went to the Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyard in Malibu, which is the same place they shot the Soulja Boy video last season with Des. Craig ended up, getting too drunk to the point that he needed to be escorted away.

Heropanti’s hero, Tiger Shroff, has recently adopted a baby tiger. Four years of age and named Jaan, the tiger has personally been selected by Shroff. Interestingly, sources have revealed that the wild animal itself is the young actor’s namesake. As a young boy, Tiger Shroff would bite, scratch and growl at people.
Besides the relevance of namesake, what makes this gesture particularly special is that Jaan is not being brought up in an artificial environment such as a zoo, but lives in a natural habitat in Nagpur.
The tiger has now become an endangered species increasingly facing the threat of being poached. The World Wild Life Fund (WWF) states that there are as few as 3,200 tigers around the world. This worrying statistic is what prompted Tiger Shroff to adopt.
Sources reveal that Shroff expressed his concern towards the extinction of tigers: “I am concerned by their dwindling numbers.

Raise your hand if you think Will just made the biggest mistake of his life by marrying his beard Layla in a quickie ceremony on "Nashville" on Wednesday (March 26)?
The deeply-closted rising country star wanted to make sure none of his past flings came out of the woodwork, so he put a ring on Layla's finger to quiet the naysayers. He promised Gunnar that he'll be a loving and committed husband to Layla, but that obviously can't and won't last. He won't be able to deny his true feelings forever, and it will ruin Layla's life when that happens.
The poor girl just gave up her family to marry Will, after all -- her parents don't agree with her decision to marry so young and fast, so they told her never to call them again if she goes through with it. But hey, at least Jeff Fordham thinks Will isn't gay anymore,...
