Author Michael Connelly philosophizing on his writing and his living out in Los Angeles and his expressing all that. Connelly's an excellent writer and, unlike a lot of the guys who spout off on these little DVD featurettes, this guy knows how to actually say something and make it interesting. (The roads they're talking about in this title are those of Los Angeles, not a reference about touring the nation.) He talks about where he come from in journalism and where the characters he's writing about came from. How many clients are innocent? Raymond Chandler novels. Where Phillip Marlowe had lived. A staggering view of the city (L.A.)
