Several applicants, men and women, get their carpentry skills tested when assigned to perform several tests which will determine how qualified they are to become professionals in the field.
Holmes and McGillivry both have their own shows on HGTV, excellent in their field and both using a team of workers that get the housing jobs done with expertise by utilizing a fine team of workers on every project.
Happened to see McGillivry on a Fox news show demonstrating his skills in the heart of NYC near the famous Radio City Music Hall. He's an extremely personable young man who looks as though he's got a combination of looks and personality that would make him ideal material for films. Whethe he's contemplating a show biz career (as an actor), I have no idea. Seems to be busy enough as it is with his TV reality show, as is Mike Holmes. Both men are completely at ease in front of the cameras.
