Late in life, Alice Faye became a spokesman for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and traveled the country making guest appearances and talking about the importance of an active senior lifestyle. This film was made to introduce Ms. Faye and her career to the audience and is a personally hosted film as she reviews her various hit films during Hollywood's classic era. As I said, it's hosted--not just narrated and it comes off as a very personal and warm filmography by Faye. It's her talking to her audience. And, in a very personal touch, at the end she shows a clip of her singing her hit song "You'll Never Know"--and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. While the overview of her career was incomplete, it is a nice treat for fans of Ms. Faye--and is well worth your time.
