Asking her out
It is festive season and the office Christmas party is nearing. Chris has no date but would like to take Kim out to the party.
Kim is by the photocopier and he hesitantly approaches her, maybe she already has a date for the party? Maybe he is out of her league?
Chris needs to pause and unload his neuroses to the camera. Let us know how he really feels.
Trouble is Kim has been asked out by the men in the office, almost all of them but she is waiting for the right person. Kim also needs to pause and let us know of her true feelings to the camera. She has been waiting for Chris to ask her out.
Director Joel Reaves has made an interesting and quirky short with good use of lighting and I am not sure during the pause scenes if one of the actor's were standing still or were digitally frozen. I am aware the film was shot on digital.
