Debuting with Superman: Man of Tomorrow in 2020, fans dubbed the new animated universe the Tomorrowverse in honor of this title. Batman and Joker will always be the most iconic hero-villain duo in the superhero universe and there is no one out there who can say otherwise. Whether it is Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy or the unmatched duo of Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson, the two characters are like fine wine and expensive cheese. Classic.
Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two (2021) | Warner Bros. Pictures
A personal favorite, though, is Troy Baker’s Joker and Jensen Ackles’ Batman in Batman: The Long Halloween. Now, Troy Baker is probably the most experienced in voicing Joker since he has given his voice to the character plenty of times. Needless to say, he understands the villain better than anyone. He opened up about how he looks at Joker and his words might put things in perspective for you.

Time and tide wait for none, even if you are an extremely overpowered speedster with the ability to transcend the barriers of different dimensions and universes. As DC’s present animated cinematic universe, dubbed Tomorrowverse, reaches the end of its journey with the adaptation of one of comics’ most important series, Crisis on Infinite Earths, in trilogy form, the first part focuses on the scarlet speedster Barry Allen, aka Flash, and his seminal role in the overarching narrative. In a sense, it’s a befitting conclusion (not even mentioning the key role Flash played in all the DC “Crisis”) given that Barry was the only surviving member of the previous cinematic universe Dcamu and also the one who introduced viewers to Tomorrowverse, acting as a link to tie in different iterations of characters, universes, and realities.

The official trailer for DC Universe Animated Original Movie Justice League: Warworld just dropped, giving fans their first glimpse at the upcoming film's Conan the Barbarian-like take on Batman.
The trailer comes courtesy of Warner Bros. Entertainment. It sees Batman (Jensen Ackles), Wonder Woman (Stana Katic) and Superman (Darren Criss) marooned on Warworld, where each member of the trio is somehow trapped in an environment based on a different era from Earth's history. The Dark Knight finds himself in prehistoric times (hence his caveman attire), while Wonder Woman becomes a gunslinger in the Wild West and Superman assumes the identity of a 1940s detective. The Justice League: Warworld trailer also teases the animated epic's various DC cameos, including fan-favorite bounty hunter Jonah Hex (Troy Baker).
