An electric and positive moment for Capital Inicial in creating a powerful rock n'roll song (those amazing keyboards) and with a very meaningful lyrics about freedom, independence and the way relationships can suffer with the absence of those things, "Independência" is a nice clip but doesn't improve the song all that much.
It's dated, corny and almost laughable at bits, thanks to the excessive close-ups on lead singer Dinho Ouro Preto and his awkward dance moves on that beautiful island - I think it's in Rio. There isn't a plot, it's basically the group performing the song and some other times they're inside of a bus having a good time. That's it and no more.
The music makes it acceptable since it is one of the band's best moments at the peak of their career. 7/10.
