One thing that was very apparent in the first two episodes of Lioness Season 2 was that Josephina was not ready for the mission. Joe and her unit didn’t have any other option, and so they had to make do with whatever they had. They knew the kind of risks involved in sending an amateur on such a complicated and dangerous mission. They knew that Josephina was a dedicated soldier and that she would never betray her country, but that was not enough. She needed combative training, which she didn’t have, and due to the porosity of time, Joe was unable to even train her. So without further ado, let’s recap all the important events of Lioness episode 3.
Spoiler Alert
What happened between Joe and Kate?
Joe was very scared for the safety of her family. A lot of times, she did not express anything to them explicitly,...

Netflix’s Territory might feel like a sibling to Yellowstone—with its rugged landscapes, high-stakes family drama, and power battles over land. But it’s pulling off one thing Yellowstone couldn’t quite master. Where Yellowstone brings out the grit, Territory goes a step further, blending that intensity with a sharper, more dynamic edge that hits home with today’s audience.

It’s like Yellowstone’s rebellious younger cousin, bringing a modern touch without losing that crazy frontier feel. Sure, there are similarities, but Territory’s fresh take on land battles feels like it’s giving Taylor Sheridan a run for his money in unexpected ways.

Sunny Hostin admitted something scandalous on The View’s podcast with Brian Teta, the show’s executive producer.
Sunny sat with Brian after a recent episode of The View and taped the podcast The View: Behind the Table, in which she admitted something to him.
As Monsters and Critics have reported, Sunny has been having spats with other ladies on the panel during this political season.
The ladies have been having trouble letting each other speak during the charged hot topic segments, but Sunny’s new admission has nothing to do with politics.
In this latest altercation, Sunny admits to stalking one of the ladies after they finished filming an episode of the popular show.
Sunny has often been friendly with Joy Behar both on the show and after, taking her shopping to some exclusive tag sales in New York City, but this time, things got weird between the ladies.

The oil business affects everything in the wild West Texas town of Landman, and Billy Bob Thornton is a key cog in that machine.
The second trailer for the next Taylor Sheridan series, this time about the oil business, focuses on Thornton’s Tommy Norris, a crisis manager in the oil industry, and peels back more of the relationships between the star-studded ensemble that includes Thornton, Jon Hamm, Demi Moore and Ali Larter.
“Men die, oil companies don’t,” says Tommy (Thornton) in the high-octane trailer (below), as he describes himself as “a divorced alcoholic with $500 thousand in debt” and pulls his son (Jacob Lofland) into the business.
Hamm stars in a recurring guest role as Monty Miller, a Texas oil industry titan with a long personal and professional relationship with Tommy; Moore plays Cami, the wife of another powerful oil man in Texas and friend of Norris; and Larter plays Norris’ ex-wife.

“Men die, oil companies don’t,” says Tommy (Thornton) in the high-octane trailer (below), as he describes himself as “a divorced alcoholic with $500 thousand in debt” and pulls his son (Jacob Lofland) into the business.

At the end of the first episode of Lioness season 2, Joe, Kaitlyn, and Byron knew one thing for sure: the Mexican government or the cartel operating in the region had Chinese support, as without that they couldn’t have kidnapped a Congressman and killed her family on US soil. She told Cruz that she had done the right thing by neutralizing the target, but the former told her that she started a chain reaction by doing so. Cruz told her that the children of the victim will seek revenge, and the cycle will keep on going. Cruz told Joe that she had turned her into a monster. Cruz made it very clear that she didn’t want to see Joe ever again in her life, and at the end of season 1, they parted ways. The Lioness program will be scrutinized like never before when Season 2 of the Zoe Saldaña-led spy thriller unspools on Paramount+ this Sunday, beginning with the first two episodes.

Taylor Sheridan’s Special Ops: Lioness is your traditional by-the-book action-espionage series, with one notable exception: female characters are at the front and center of the story as their personal experiences, burdens of social expectations, responsibilities both at the home and front, and success with beating gender norms make for a compelling watch. Given the fact that in most similar spy narratives, the role of women when it comes to on-field duty, infiltration, and information extraction is heavily understated or sidelined, Special Ops: Lioness makes the most of the premise by simply showcasing the added edge provided by female perspective in the conflicts and messes created by men. However, the narrative treatment itself feels a bit dated due to the naivety conveyed through the military glorification and lack of nuance when it comes to presenting the conflict between the opposing forces of the army and terrorists, which definitely isn’t a deal-breaker by any means,...

You’ll go in-depth with Joe as she’s discovering this,” Saldaña told TV Insider. “It’s hard to navigate an environment where everybody is holding secrets. [That creates] hostility and doubt within [the] unit.” Here, the actress tells us more about the high-stakes action, hints at new twists for the A-list cast, and shares how she trained harder than ever for the badass role. "Yellowstone" and "Succession" aren't really birds of a feather, but it's easy to see why folks are inclined to compare them all the same. On some level, both shows are familial dramas that center on a King Lear-esque patriarch whose children vie for control of their inheritance -- the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, in the case of Taylor Sheridan's mega-popular neo-Western drama -- while also warding off the vultures circling from the outside. Personally, I could even picture a crossover where Connor Roy from "Succession," after years of hanging out on his own swanky "ranch" in New Mexico, tries to snatch up the Duttons' land in the hopes of fortifying his salt of the earth public image for his next sure-to-fail presidential run. (You know the Conheads would totally eat that nonsense up.)

“Lioness” is a powerful new addition to the constantly changing world of TV. It was created by the skilled Taylor Sheridan, known for writing gripping stories like “Yellowstone.” In this show, viewers are taken into the secret world of the CIA’s Lioness program, which trains and sends female agents on dangerous military and spy tasks. This bold idea not only shows what women can do in jobs that men have usually filled but also gives a gritty, accurate picture of how complicated modern war is.
“Lioness” stands out in today’s entertainment scene, where stories often deal with social problems. It’s about obedience, giving up things you want, and the moral issues people in the line of duty face. The show doesn’t hide how hard these tasks can be on the agents, their families, and the people in their towns. Putting personal and professional problems next to...

Don’t Move marks directors Brian Netto and Adam Schindler first foray into studio feature directing. They’ve both worked on short films and true low-budget indie films prior to this. The writing team of T.J. Cimfel and David White is similarly inexperienced. And that inexperience shows.
But that’s not a dig at anyone here. It’s simply inexperience. There’s enough proof here to feel confident they’ll improve with each new project. The creative team clearly has a feel for the thriller/horror genre, and there are some interesting ideas and themes at play. Is Nicole Kidman the hardest working person in Hollywood at the moment?
In the last year or so, Nicole Kidman has starred in “A Family Affair” and “Babygirl.” On the TV side, she starred in “Expats” and “The Perfect Couple” and returns to Taylor Sheridan’s “Lioness” for its second season, launching on Paramount+ on Oct. 27.
At the same time, she’ll be seen in Season 2 of the Hulu series “Nine Perfect Strangers,” the animated movie “Spellbound and the thriller “Holland, Michigan.” She also plays the title role in “Scarpetta,” Amazon’s upcoming series adaptation of Patricia Cornwell’s mystery books, opposite Jamie Lee Curtis and Ariana DeBose. She’s hoping to get a third season of “Big Little Lies” off the ground as well as a sequel to “Practical Magic.”
Even so, Kidman says she does actually find time to sleep. “I slept nine hours last night,” she told...
