Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk became the definitive one for the MCU due to the actor’s incredible performance as Dr. Bruce Banner. The actor replaced Edward Norton after the Fight Club star was found to have meddled too much with the film that Marvel wanted to make in The Incredible Hulk. Starting with The Avengers, Ruffalo has been a franchise regular.

However, since the 2012 film, the character of Banner, as well as the CGI, has gone down in quality. Many have criticized the comedic treatment of the green rage monster in films like Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame, while the Hulk’s CGI in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Endgame has been considered to be a massive downgrade.
Fans Remember Mark Ruffalo’s Superior Hulk CGI In The Avengers
The Hulk has always been a tough character to crack in live-action.

Star Trek has had many great stories that cover the emotional spectrum. Episodes that covered fear, hurt, pain, post-traumatic stress, and more have been hallmarks of Star Trek for decades. They've had bitter feuds like that between Khan Noonien Singh and James Kirk, epic friendships like between Jean-Luc Picard and Will Riker, and even great teacher-student dynamics like with Kathryn Janeway and Seven of Nine.
What they haven't had, not truly, is an epic romance. Yes, we've had good romances before. Cassidy and Benjamin Sisko, Tom Paris and B'Elanna, and of course Riker and Deanna Troi. Yet, a truly epic love story? We haven't had that yet.
We've had some truly awful ones. Really anything involving Kes and Neelix comes to mind. Of course, we have The Doctor, Julian Bashir, and Harry Kim's constant swings and misses. We even have whatever that was between Beverly Crusher and that ghost.

Every character in a new show has a backstory. It often takes time to learn the main motivations of the lead character, but Doctor Odyssey changed that. It didn’t take long for Max Bankman to find someone he could open up about.
Caution: This post contains Spoilers for Doctor Odyssey season 1, episode 1.
When Doctor Odyssey began, we learned that Max had a varied career of providing medical care around the world. He wanted to head to places where medical care wasn’t that easy to gain. This is a man who wanted to use his talents to actually help people who needed it.
So, what made him change his mind? Why would he stop doing that for the job as the doctor of a cruise ship? Why would he opt to help the elite rather than those who need him? His backstory was quickly explained.

Spider-Man and Doctor Strange have a classic tandem in the comics, but fans of the MCU saw they had a different bond in the movies, especially after what happened in Spider-Man: No Way Home. While the spell cast by the Sorcerer Supreme was truly a shocking event, it’s no more surprising than the fact that it wasn’t their first interaction – at least on the big screen.

Many years ago, Peter Parker and Stephen Strange met in one of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films. It’s hard to believe, but there was an allusion all along, and many fans did not seem to notice it.

Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange shared a very heart-wrenching moment in the third installment of the MCU’s Spider-Man saga.

Iron Man Star Jeff Bridges Teases He Might Return to the MCU: "Who Knows?" - Main Image
Considering that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been bringing back classic characters from the yesteryears, there's a chance another classic villain from Iron Man could make his MCU return sometime in the future.
Obadiah Stane Could Still Return to the MCU According to Jeff Bridges
There is no doubt that Iron Man paved the gates for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to grow over the years. That said, is there a chance that other actors, say, Jeff Bridges' Obadiah Stane, could return to the franchise, too? Here's what the former classic villain had to say.

For a time, it looked like Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was putting all his eggs in a Rick & Morty-shaped basket. He tapped a number of writers from that series to work on the Multiverse Saga, including Jeff Loveness and Michael Waldron.
The former penned Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania before being hired for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, while Waldron was Head Writer on Loki before writing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Avengers: Secret Wars.
Feige had so much faith in Waldron that he teamed with him for a Star Wars movie that never happened and even got him to replace Loveness on The Kang Dynasty. However, things have since changed and Waldron's time in the MCU appears to be over.
Despite Loki receiving widespread critical acclaim, it's believed season 2 Head Writer Eric Martin played a much bigger role in that first batch of episodes than originally reported.

Korean Drama or K-Drama has been growing in popularity over the last few years. As usual, regional television shows generally hit their peak within the country that it’s produced in. For instance, back in the 1960s and 1970s, K-Drama was consumed almost exclusively in Korea.
Eventually, Korean-based projects made their way across the world following the end of the military rule in South Korea. Obviously, there would have been much more to watch during that time than just Death Row Prisoner (1956).

The Multiverse Saga is Marvel's current focus, as the franchise continues to highlight the ever-growing world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's not just one world anymore, as there are countless out there, highlighted in projects such as Deadpool and Wolverine, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, What If...?, Loki, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and The Marvels.
Although more multiversal heroes are expected to appear after the saga concludes (Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool are expected to stick around), the ongoing story of the Multiverse Saga is indeed expected to bow out in the same way that its predecessor (the Infinity Saga) did; with two giant-sized Avengers movies. Yep, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars will end that era, but they will also kick off another new one entirely.
We don't know much about what comes next from the McU's new chapter, but there have been...

Spoiler Alert !!!This article contains spoilers for Agatha All Along.
The first episode of Agatha All Along, much like WandaVision before it, began with an homage to a style of television. Starting out as a procedural drama before shifting into the urban fantasy setting that can be expected from a show like this, the first episode in the series was able to introduce a slew of easter eggs which could lead to some big ramifications for the MCU ahead of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

The Doctor is in, and we're ready to see the many saves and medical emergencies. Doctor Odyssey arrives in less than a week, and the first full-length trailer is out.
We already knew to expect some top-named guest stars here and there. After all, the Queen of Country Pop is going to be in at least one episode, and the latest trailer gives us the same clip from the teaser. We still have no idea who Shania Twain is going to play.
That's not all. The Doctor Odyssey trailer makes it clear there are more big names. It looks like a big guest star per episode, which makes sense considering how many people Ryan Murphy has worked with over the year.
John Stamos, Cheyenne Jackson, and more joining the guest list on Doctor Odyssey

British TV boss Nicola Shindler has explained why Channel 4’s It’s a Sin took “a long time” to get made — and the reason is creator Russell T. Davies‘ own genius.
Shindler, executive producer and CEO of Quay Street Productions, spoke alongside Top Gear and Clarkson’s Farm producer Andy Wilman at The Royal Television Society’s London Convention on Tuesday.
Shindler is behind work such as the BAFTA-winning Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax. She said It’s a Sin, which followed the HIV/Aids crisis take hold of a friendship group and extended queer community in 1980s London, took “a long time” to get made because Doctor Who writer Davies wanted the script to first focus on the characters.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was certainly one of the more odd films from Marvel’s recent difficult years. Even though the first film did excellently well, and the sequel featured the beloved Wanda Maximoff, the 2022 film ended up being disappointing in a completely new way for audiences.

Rather than hating on new characters or disliking the concept of a show, fans were upset at the franchise for the way that they dealt with fan-favorite characters like the Scarlet Witch and Steven Stange. One of the most frustrating points in the film was also the fate of Maximoff by the end.
The fact that after everything she went through over the years, Marvel decided to kill off Wanda rather than help her get back on her feet made more than a few angry.

The MCU’s Multiversal Saga has introduced numerous variants and a surge in fan service. While some returns of legacy characters, such as in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, received mixed reactions, others, like No Way Home and Deadpool & Wolverine, were well-received and successful at the box office.
With both Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine now part of the MCU’s canon, there’s a possibility they could make future appearances.
Fans are eagerly wondering if they’ll see more from these characters, despite the crowded state of the MCU. During the September Discord Ama, industry insider Alex Perez from Cosmic Circus discussed the potential for both Tobey Maguire and Hugh Jackman to return and possibly even team up.
Many fans are hoping that Secret Wars will be a Multiversal crossover featuring nearly every Marvel and non-mcu character. Perez addressed these expectations:

Screenwriter and executive producer Steven Moffat (Doctor Who, Dracula, Sherlock) had much insight to share about his work on Sherlock, Doctor Who and beyond, as well as his frustrations with elements of the entertainment industry during an appearance in Toronto on Friday.
The creative appeared during a “Visionaries” session at the industry conference section at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival where he was interviewed by THR‘s European bureau chief Scott Roxborough about such topics as how to reimagine known and beloved characters, how not to adapt British series for the U.S. and the challenges of window and release strategies in the digital age.
Moffat drew laughs throughout the session. That was also the case when he explained the brilliance of Doctor Who and its format. “You think it’s that cheesy old BBC adventure series,” he said. “Actually, it is the single smartest television format ever devised. By...

If you are acquainted with the early stages of Marvel and DC comics, from a modern perspective, you will find it really stereotypical. From broken English of Asian characters to over-s*xualization of female characters, even negative portrayal of LGBTQ+, there are plenty of examples. And that doesn’t limit itself to the pages, you can see that in the cinemas too.
Being a mainstream form of entertainment, the MCU doesn’t go all out in terms of portrayal of stereotypes, but they have some subtle references here and there.

For the general audience, who is straight and white, it doesn’t come out as a major problem, but it does seem a bit “offensive” when it comes to those who don’t fit the hypothetical standards of a straight white population. And though some fans might feel enraged by that, Joe Locke points...

Spider-Man has one of the most intricate backstories of any superhero in the MCU, primarily because Sony, not Marvel Studios, owns the rights to the character. However, after Tom Holland took on the role, Sony and Marvel collaborated to produce three films featuring the young actor, integrating him into the MCU as a key character.
Following the events of “No Way Home,” the future of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man remains uncertain. While it’s confirmed he will appear in future films, how Marvel plans to continue his story in “Spider-Man 4” and integrate him into the upcoming “Doomsday” and “Secret Wars” movies is still unknown.

It’s been almost been 20 years since Doctor Who was revived for a new audience, and the show has brought us lots of Christmas and New Years specials since then. Although Christopher Eccleston rang in this new era with his Ningth Doctor in 2005, David Tennant's Tenth Doctor was the first to star in a holiday special.
We're going to rank every holiday special of the New Who era, including the New Years specials produced during Jodie Whittaker's run as the Thirteenth Doctor. Let's begin!

While “Resolution” is certainly a visually impressive episode, it's dragged down by a lack of urgency and imagination. This is the first time we see Thirteen meet Daleks.

The BBC and Disney+'s Doctor Who partnership is well underway. The rebooted series aired earlier this year to mixed reviews; there were superb entries like "73 Yards" as well as more disappointing episodes like "Space Babies." The future of the partnership is up in the air. But at the least, Doctor Who will return for season 2 on Christmas Day, with Ncuti Gatwa in the lead role as the Fifthteenth Doctor. Also, a new spinoff, The War Between the Land and the Sea, has officially entered production.
The Whoniverse has had a number of spinoffs over the years. The most successful ones include the dark and gritty Torchwood and the child-friendly The Sarah Jane Adventures. This latest is the first spinoff produced that's able to access Disney's vast resources. Created by Russell T. Davies, The War Between the Land and the Sea is a Unit-focused show. Benedict Cumberbatch has proven to be the ultimate Doctor Strange for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, channeling his wit, charm, and personality as a whole most profoundly. From a doctor who only sought to cure his hands to a well-established sorcerer who head-on takes the challenges posed by multiversal threats, he has truly come a long way as the character.

Throughout this journey, he has also battled quite a few big baddies, including the likes of Dormammu and Thanos, the latter of whom even posed an existential crisis for the doctor himself. In the MCU, there have been quite a lot of superheroes who feel like they are the leading, driving force of the franchise, paving the way for the story to continue its trek. But while many suspected this position to be held by the brave Captain America or the courageous Iron Man, it turns out that Marvel Studios prez Kevin Feige had been planning something different all along.

Entertainment prophesied the future more often than you might believe.
We expect that from science fiction shows, but more often than not, comedy predicts events that come to pass.
TV has often gotten there first, whether it’s political events, global catastrophes, or which couples might split for drama. It creates a fictional future that later turns out to be uncannily accurate.

Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff has undeniably become a cornerstone of the MCU. Her transformation from a grieving civilian to a reality-altering sorceress is nothing short of spectacular. Possessing power on a cosmic scale, she’s arguably the MCU’s most potent hero.

With such immense potential, it’s unthinkable that Kevin Feige would sideline her. Especially as the MCU gears up for an iconic clash with Robert Downey Jr.’s iconic villain, Doctor Doom.
Kevin Feige Must Leverage the MCU’s Strongest Avenger Against Doctor Doom
Elizabeth Olsen‘s Scarlet Witch can easily be Marvel’s strongest superhero. A fact that even MCU president Kevin Feige agreed with during an interview. Scarlet Witch, aka Wanda Maximoff’s mastery of chaos magic, allows her to manipulate reality on a cosmic scale. The same was demonstrated in her creation of an entire reality in WandaVision.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is a standout character due to her extraordinary powers. Binge’s record-setting drama series Strife has begun shooting its second season.
The Asher Keddie-starring show became Australian streamer Binge’s biggest original series premiere last year, prompting execs to set up a writers’ room for Season 2, as we revealed in January. Production is now underway in Sydney.
The comedic drama follows Evelyn Jones (Keddie), a modern, imperfect woman and publisher, on her journey from lounge room blogger to becoming a force in women’s media. It was inspired by Australian media personality and journalist Mia Freedman’s memoir Work, Strife, Balance, and is written by Australian screenwriter Sarah Scheller (The Letdown).
In Season 2, Evelyn’s empire is threatened by the arrival of a new women’s website and a troll who calls out her hypocrisy and privilege, making her double guess her instincts when she needs to be on her A game. Her company moves to new offices and ventures into podcasting,...

As we know, earlier, Jonathan Majors portrayed Kang the Conqueror in the MCU and was scheduled to make a comeback as the primary antagonist in Secret Wars. However, after the controversy and conviction surrounding his domestic abuse, Majors was fired from his employment. Marvel originally intended to retain Kang and replace Majors, but it was revealed during the Marvel panel at Sdcc that Doctor Doom had taken Kang’s place, and that the former would be played by Downey.
At this point, the manner in which Downey’s character is going to be integrated in the MCU is unknown,...

It is for this very reason that we have not received a solo Hulk project since the Incredible Hulk., all the way back in Phase 1. However, the world of The Hulk is not limited to the Jolly Green Giant alone, and there are rumors that Marvel wants to capitalize on this fact as well.
