While Ron Howard has focused on directing for most of his Hollywood career, there’s one person who could get him to return to acting.

The Oscar-winning filmmaker recently told People magazine that he would “love to do some acting” again but that “it’s hard to make time for.”

“I happen to play myself in an upcoming episode of The Studio, and I had a lot of fun doing that,” he noted.

However, Howard shared that his daughter, actress and director Bryce Dallas Howard, could likely get him to step back in front of the screen. “I think that if my daughter Bryce cast me in something, that would compel me to put down the directing obligation, put them on hold for a minute and show up,” he said.

Well, Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 15 pulled the wool over my eyes with an unexpected death. I can admit that.

But although they did manage to give us a shocking death, once again, it’s not the kind of death that provokes a truly emotional response from the audience.

We barely knew the victim, and while their loved one will be affected and their actions will greatly affect the others at 51, it’s not the same. This death was a plot device, so it’s hard to be invested.

Shikai is the first stage of release, followed by Bankai, and everyone expects the latter to be the ultimate ace in the hole. Bankai like Senbonzakura Kageyoshi and Ryujin Jakka are marvels of the battlefield, but others fall short.

Bleach fans wouldn't say that any Bankai is weak compared to its Shikai or sealed Zanpakuto, but even so, they can't all be top-tier. Some are relatively modest with their power or are too easy for the enemy to counter or destroy. Other Bankai have the potential to be stronger in the future, but for now, they are young and underdeveloped. These Bankai rank among the series' most unimpressive power releases.

Lencia Kebede will be making Broadway history when she joins the cast of Wicked in March.

The actress will become the first Black actress to play the role of Elphaba in a full-time capacity on Broadway in the show’s 21-year history.

Lencia most recently played Angelica in the national touring production of Hamilton and she has even sung backup for Beyonce on tour.

When Lencia joins the cast on March 4, she will be performing alongside Allie Trimm as Glinda, who moves into the full-time role after previously performing as the Glinda standby on Broadway. She previously has been seen in the musicals 13 and Bye Bye Birdie.

Brittney Johnson previously made Wicked history as the first Black actress to play Glinda full time on Broadway back in 2022.

Lencia Kebede will take over playing Elphaba on Broadway this spring, becoming the first Black actress to assume the role full time on Broadway.

Kebede, who most recently played Angelica in the National Tour of Hamilton, will be joined by Allie Trimm, who was the Glinda standby from December 2021 through March 2024, as Glinda. The two will start in the roles March 4.

Mary Kate Morrisey, who is currently playing Elphaba, and Alexandra Socha, who is currently playing Glinda, will play their final performances, March 2. Additional new principal casting will be announced in the coming weeks.
