Trivia
The original script had Alan Carter and Andy Johnson riding through the tunnel in the opening scene in a moon buggy. The filmed episode has them walking. Carter's "nonsense song" started out with "Moon buggy, moon buggy, travel in haste...", but since the vehicle was nowhere in sight, the word "moon buggy" was made inaudible on the soundtrack.

Goofs
While Pasc is holding Helena in the Eagle, Tony orders Eagle One to launch and stand by, hovering above the launch pad where Pasc is present. Eagle One, however, is currently occupied by Koenig and Maya.

Not too bad, a little weird

For reasons someone explained in this episode's trivia, Martin Landau and Catherine Schell weren't directly involved in shooting it. As a result, Tony and Alan play leading roles which is a refreshing change of pace.

Pretty good drama between Alpha and the Alien villains. Kind of hate to say it, but the dynamic between Carter and Etrec hasn't aged well.
