The issue of George's family contesting the will/inheritance is actually false. It is clearly stated that the money was deposited into Emmett's bank account prior to he and George leaving for their trip. This would make it a living individual's gift and thus NOT part of the estate. Therefore the family could not contest the money as an inheritance. No court is going to resend a living individual's gift to another individual by the heirs as it is no longer part of the estate and therefore not available to contest. It would be no different than if George gave money to a charity ten years ago and now after he has died the family attempts to get it back. It would never even make it to the lawyers writing up the paperwork.
