I'm not sure I can ever forgive Michael for crashing Devon's much anticipated speech, but I guess it was for a good cause. Some good car chases, mediocre acting, and an all too convenient series of events.

I rather like KITT's in built printer, it also has access to a database. Like an early version of Wikipedia.
Michael and Devon travel to Alpine Crest, a small town where nothing happens and seems to be stuck in the 1950s. It had the lowest crime rate of all of America.
However Michael is in pursuit of a currency counterfeiter, the town has a large publisher and the sheriff is not too helpful in wanting to apprehend the counterfeiter.
Michael joins forces with a nosy reporter which comes useful as several deputies manage to disable KITT.
A lively but routine episode, several songs are featured in the episode, something that will be common on American television shows. The prison breakout scenes are getting a bit too familiar.

Michael fails to apprehend a counterfeiter. He then accompanies Devon to a town which is supposedly, the town with lowest crime rate. While there Michael sees the man he was trying to arrest but the man gives him a runaround which takes up most of this pedestrian episode which lacks sharpness of plot and doesn't raise much excitement. Some decent action.
