Exclusive: Former Just Shoot Me and Rules Of Engagement star David Spade is headed to HBO with a new comedy. The pay cable network is in negotiations for the untitled project Spade will co-write with comedy writer Dean Lorey (The Crazy Ones). There is no acting deal in the works with Spade, but the script is written as a starring vehicle for him, with an intention for him to play Shane if the project gets the green light. HBO has a track record with comedy series featuring larger-than-life agents/managers that includes the long-running Arli$$, Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Locklear and Spade Split
Heather Locklear and David Spade are taking a break from their six-month relationship, according to media reports in the US. The couple were first spotted kissing at an afterparty for Spade's series Showbiz Show in March - one month after Locklear filed for divorce from Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. A source tells American publication People, "Heather is still going through a lot with Denise Richards and Richie. It's just too soon for her to get serious. They are still friends. It's not ugly." Another source close to Spade says that the break "was a mutual decision." The couple has been seen regularly cuddling, holding hands and kissing over the last several months, but have never publicly spoken about their relationship. Locklear was even seen with a new tattoo on her ankle with the words "Finch" - the character Spade played on the TV show Just Shoot Me. A source close to Locklear adds, "They are friends. They've always been friends. And they continue to be friends. There's nothing more than that."...

Locklear and Spade Deny Romance Reports
Heather Locklear and David Spade have laughed off rumors they are dating, despite recently wowing diners in West Hollywood by "kissing like a couple of teens." The pair were first spotted in a romantic clinch soon after the actress filed for divorce from Richie Sambora at an afterparty for Spade's The Showbiz Show. And although they have also been seen frolicking on Malibu Beach together and sharing dinner dates, a pal of the pair insists they were just "goofing off." A friend of Locklear's said, "Heather and David were just goofing off; the whole thing was blown out of proportion. They were joking around and hamming it up, and the next thing you know, people are saying they're together."...
