Heloísa Périssé's daughter Antônia Périssé would star Uma Fada Veio Me Visitar (2023) as a character named Luna. In "Abracadabra", the Brazilian girl group Rouge performs their single "Brilha La Luna", which is featured on that movie as well in reference to its main character.

Luciano Szafir was first considered to portray Xuxa's love interest in this film. However, producers feared comparisons to Xuxa e os Duendes 2: No Caminho das Fadas (2002), so Marcio Garcia was cast instead.

The Rouge girls were personally invited by Xuxa to appear on this film. Besides for being a hit at the time, they were also brought in because Globo TV (of which Xuxa was part) would never allow them to appear on their shows. The girl group filmed all their sequences in one day.

While promoting this film, Xuxa suffered an accident when taking pictures with her fans. They were on a deck which sank, and Xuxa cut her leg.
