A little bit of magic
This movie just goes to show that good writing, good characters, tight direction and a little bit of magic and romance can produce something that far outweighs big name stars and wham bam action. Add to that a set that isn't on a backlot in Hollywood, but a real streetscape and you've got something that is a bit closer to all our lives.
Colin Cooks up a storm
Temptation tells the story of restaurant owner Robert Francobelli (Colin Friels) and five young aspiring chefs ,including his son ,and an indian who is seeking residency in Australia.
Francobelli has a prejudice against Indians and the use of chili peppers in his cooking so when he confronts the indian chef sparks begin to fly. The film is at a good pace with Colin Friels the star performer but the end leaves alot to be desired. It premiered on Australian television Sunday 31 August 2003

Outstanding movie
What a delight! Something different and enjoyable. The characters, setting, music and direction. Really, really enjoyed this film. No violence, no extreme aggro and even no sex. Yet, I was thoroughly entertained. An older friend of mine thought there were too many characters and got confused. But I didn't find this at all. From the opening credits you could tell this was going to be a classy movie. Unfortunately, not too many people watched this show. Which is a pity. There should be more movies like this one. I would class this as one of the great telemovies on food and love. Full credit to the cast and crew for a job well done. There has to be an audience out there for this type of entertainment.
