a mind-bending film noir

I saw Scallop Pond at the Long Island Film Festival in 2005 and I was pleasantly surprised. The imagery and range of complexity was definitely worth the watch. Its a well crafted mystery.

I felt the acting could have been better at times but for a feature film done by a 16 year old, its really not bad. I still find it hard to believe that it was made by someone so young. I look forward to seeing more from this kid.

I recommend seeing it, especially if you're into film noir. They just don't make enough film noirs these days!
