Featured review
From the opening sequence to the closing of the iris, this short film is as entertaining as it is well-crafted. In its simplicity, the story endears itself to any audience gay or straight because it is universal. What shine in this piece are the direction and performances. Alexandra Paul is captivating as Charlie and Karri Bowman is equally enchanting as Jill. Adding a fresh new spin on the standard romantic comedy formula, Director Jennifer McGlone exhibits the eye of a seasoned director. She sets a lively pace for the film and times the comic moments just right. Each scene begins with a sparkle and ends with more to come. This romantic comedy is a must see.
