Ratheesh , Shobhana and Seema lead a meagre existence as siblings . Seema has been abandoned by her husband . Shobhana loses her leg in an accident and is chair borne. All three are having their own sad stories needing money . They keep supporting each other .
Ratheesh works as a receptionist in a nearby hotel . His love interest is Tulasi ( in a short cute role ) .
He is one day diagnosed with brain tumor .
A lot of money is required for his operation.
He comes across a paper article where an award is announced to find the killer of an industrialist .He remembers this rich man as his hotel guest a few days back . Due to desperate want of money, he turns himself in to the police as the killer . Once inside jail, he meets other jail mates who give some hints about this killed industrialist.
He escapes to investigate the real killer.
The missing link is his finger ring . Finally he finds the real killer and he unites with Tulasi .
Parallelly his friend Mamooty is the real killer's son . He has his own childhood poignant story with his father who had abandoned him .
Sukumari, Thilakan and Mammooty shine in their short side roles.
