Shakti Samantha wanted to shoot the song Hum Dono Do Premi urgently as he had acquired dates of Rajesh Khanna.But due to strike of musicians it was difficult to compose the song.Shakti Samantha went to RD Burman and told him that he has got Rajesh Khanna on board to shoot this romantic song from is busy schedule.RD Burman's had just three musicians working with him as rest were on strike so he decided rather then using instruments he should create this song by various sounds he could create without musical instruments .He used two sand papers and clashed them against each other to get the effect of a moving train and similar way used various thing and removed sound from his mouth to complete the song.
Shakti Samanta originally offered Yogita Bali's role to Simple Kapadia.
While shooting the song Hum Dono Do Premi Musician's were on strike.
Raymond Ramnarine & Kes song "I Doh Know " was cover version of "Hum Dono Do Premi".
Kenneth Salick song "The Sky Is Blue" is a cover version of "Ek Ajnabee Hasina Se".
