Vijay Anand was very upset and annoyed with Rekha for not coperating during the shooting and the movie was delayed for 1 year. This was the first Ramsays film which got delayed.
Ghungroo Ki Awaaz was the last movie of the veteran actor Harindranath Chattopadhya, who apeared in a brief important role as Nawab Jung Bahadur. The veteran actor had also played an important role in Goldie's.earlier directed movie Tere Ghar Ke Samne.
Rekha was giving dates problems for this film. She didn't shoot some scenes and did not done the dubbing also. She didn't know it was a privilege to work with Navketan and and opposite Goldie.
