As to my knowledge this film written by Late Ex CM & Telugu Actor N.T.Rama Rao. He has written this single film script. Initially L.V. Prasad want to cast Rajesh Khanna due to his demand & behaviour, Jeetendra accept this movie unconditionally to get the success & marry his girl friend Shoba now his Wife. I have never seen this kind of movie with full of emotions & loving son towards his mother, Story of Mother with 2 sons 1 elder leaves her in the village & shift to city with his wife another younger son who wants to keep his mother happy with any cost even refusing to separate from his wife, In this movie Bidaai " Separation" shown in a very good hearth touching manner, Ist of all script is very strong as well as direction was excellent by L.V. Prasad, Acting wise Durga Khote excel in her part, Madan Puri too acted well in Father in law role, Leena Chandavarkar also perform too good as lover than wife, above all Jeetendra performance was so strong & he proved that he is a very talented actor.The movie runs 50 weeks that time. A must watch film for mother son relation. A very fantastic movie of Jeetendra.
