I recently received a DVD from Netflicks called "Short #7: Utopia" and it consisted of a collection of mostly strange short films that supposedly had to do with Utopian ideals (some didn't seem to--at least at first glance).
The inclusion of SUPERSTITION was a bit odd because it was almost like a music video as well as a short film. While the very repetitive and annoying music played on and on for 9 minutes, the images were shown on what looked like a giant film cel. During this time, an equalizer moved to the beat of the music on the far left side of the screen. I think this was all supposed to be new and creative and arsty--it just made my brain hurt! Not entertaining in the least.
