Featured review
For Simca garage only.
This French "comedy vaudeville" is absolutely flat with no rhythm, it's completely boring. The casting is poorly directed, even Francis Blanche seems bored. The only thing to save for me is the use of beautiful 60's cars and especially that long sequence in a Simca garage and show room (I guess in Grenelle). But that's all to save and it's really poor. I saw "les Baratineurs" and "les Gros Bras" from the same director and it's the same flat and boring level.
I'll have to check maybe the only very interesting drama by Rigaud and Vilfrid, with Paul Meurisse, "les Nouveaux Aristocrates" (though the only print I found is very poor).
