Kim Kardashian does not really discuss Damon Thomas.
Though Kim has collected regrettable ex-husbands, he was the first. Yes, even before Kris Humphries.
However, in praising one of her sisters, Kim could not help but bring up her first marriage.
And how that sister helped her through her first divorce.

The Thursday, March 6 episode of The Kardashians was all about Khloe Kardashian. It was a special birthday tribute episode to her.
Many members of the famous family shared warm anecdotes about Khloe — as a daughter, a sister, a mother, an aunt, and as a friend.
One of Kim Kardashian’s fond memories began when Khloe Kardashian was just a child. Khloe received an enormous piggy bank styled after a glass Coca-Cola bottle, and began to fill it with cash and change.

Was Matt Damon depressed due to the failure of a movie he worked hard on? (Photo Credit – Facebook)
On Jake’s Takes, Matt Damon opened up about the struggles of powering through a production when you already know things aren’t going as planned. “Sometimes you find yourself in a movie that you know, perhaps, might not be what you had hoped it would be,” Damon admitted. “And I remember halfway through production, knowing I still had months to go.”
He recalled the emotional toll it took on him and his family, sharing that his wife, Luciana Barroso, had to pull him out of his slump. “I remember my wife pulling me up because I fell into a depression about like, what have I done?” he said. Despite the uncertainty, Damon pushed through, embracing the professional mindset: giving everything on set, no matter the outcome. He credited Barroso with reminding...

Paul Kelly’s song “How to Make Gravy” captures a deeply personal story of family tension and redemption. The film adaptation by Nick Waterman and Megan Washington expands the track’s emotional landscape, transforming its compact narrative into a broader cinematic experience.
The adaptation skillfully sidesteps literal interpretation. Instead of direct song quotations, the directors craft a nuanced backstory for Joe (Daniel Henshall), a troubled father who ends up in prison after a violent confrontation with his brother-in-law.
This narrative approach allows exploration of complex themes like family dynamics and personal struggle. The film examines Joe’s internal conflicts and attempts to reconnect with his family, creating a rich emotional terrain that echoes the song’s raw sentiment.
While the expanded narrative sometimes feels stretched, the central emotional thread remains compelling. Joe’s journey of self-reflection and potential redemption drives the film’s dramatic core, staying true to the spirit...

What Did Matt Damon Say About Akshay Kumar’s Toiler: Ek Prem Katha Movie? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Matt Damon once praised Akshay Kumar for Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, highlighting its powerful message on India’s sanitation crisis. According to Hindustan Times, Damon called the film’s message crucial. “It’s great to have stars like Akshay and films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha spotlighting the open defecation crisis,” he alluded. “It helps drive awareness, not only about the issues but also what can be done to tackle this and create change.”
Damon’s Water.org has tackled sanitation for years, and he firsthand experienced the impact of open defecation during his 2013 India visit. “I’ve seen how it threatens health, contaminates safe drinking water, and endangers women and children,” he asserted. Damon stressed that access to clean water and sanitary toilets is a cornerstone for human dignity and potential.

Actor and comedian Damon Wayans has revealed how he purposely got fired from Saturday Night Live. Wayans got his start on the live comedy sketch show, and recently spoke with Variety about being fired from the show during Season 11. In the new Peacock docuseries, SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night, Wayans revealed that former SNL star Eddie Murphy, who Wayans had worked with just two years prior in the movie Beverly Hills Cop, offered the comedian advice after he joined the show's cast in 1985:
Eddie’s advice to me was, ‘Write your own sketches. Otherwise they’re going to give you some Black people sh*t to do, and you ain’t gon’ like it.
This advice would prove sound, as Wayans found himself written into other sketches, often cast in stereotypical or offensive roles. The comedian grew frustrated as his ideas were repeatedly scrapped or "cut for time" by the writers and producers,...

The Vampire Diaries would be incomplete without Damon Salvatore, but the redeemed anti-hero was not for the faint of heart. Before he became the beloved romantic interest for Elena, Damon was a certified bad guy on the show. He entered Season 1 of The Vampire Diaries as a villain, and his actions were aligned with his negative role in the CW fantasy.
Damon was not any ordinary villain. He enjoyed going to evil depths to hurt people or hit their weak spots. He thoroughly enjoyed being a vampire because of the power it gave him, and he was sure to use his power on people weaker than him. In short, there were more than a few acts Damon committed that could be considered questionable at best.

Matt Damon’s The Martian would totally become a different movie if the original plan for the project pushed through. His collaboration with Ridley Scott was a massive critical success, so perhaps there was a reason why they had to face challenges first.

A comic book film in early development at the time interfered with the movie’s progress. Damon was already losing hope that it might get shelved or delayed, but Scott ultimately came into the picture and saved the franchise.

It's starting to feel like there aren't any other stars left to cast in Christopher Nolan's next film. The director's first project after his Academy Award-winning film, Oppenheimer, may still be mysterious in so many ways, but its cast is decidedly not, having added Charlize Theron to a laundry list of big-name stars.
The plot is completely unknown at this point, according to The Hollywood Reporter, with some outlets reporting that any genre and/or storyline rumors are unfounded, but with new cast member announcements being rolled out every few days, it feels like only a matter of time before we learn more.
First, we learned about the casting of Matt Damon. Then we heard about Tom Holland joining the cast. After that, Holland's girlfriend Zendaya, and Anne Hathaway joined the fold. And in the last few days we heard about Lupita Nyong'o and Robert Pattinson coming on board the film,...

The Vampire Diaries is undoubtedly one of the most iconic shows ever created. The CW original blended together supernatural fantasy with the teen genre, adding heaps of romance and drama into it. It was executed so well that Tvd never seemed overwhelming or cringeworthy. In fact, it was made up of memorable moments that have stayed in the audience's minds from 2009 to date.
These scenes were some of the most emotional, ranging from joyous to tear-jerking moments where viewers felt for the characters. Elena, Damon, and Stefan always managed to pull at heartstrings, while others, like Katherine, had some sassy entry scenes. These moments defined Tvd as a show and remain imprinted in the audience's minds forever.

Damon Salvatore is a pretty dividing character for fans of The Vampire Diaries. His fans adore him and will defend everything he does, and his haters will (rightfully) bring up all the awful things he's done.
Damon Salvatore is a very complex character who will kill whenever he's mad or annoyed, but will also kill to defend those he cares about. This Salvatore brother has a long and controversial kill list, but some of the deaths he caused weren't entirely unjustified. Among all the innocent lives he took, Damon has a few mercy killings under his belt, with some being downright comical.

For eight seasons, The CW's The Vampire Diaries weaved a romance that always kept fans guessing. Elena Gilbert's (Nina Dobrev) dramatic choice between two vampire brothers, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder), was the main conflict of the series, but it wasn't what made the series resonate with viewers. While romance was the main draw, it was contrasted exceptionally with some truly horrific and dark material.
The Vampire Diaries starts with a young girl in the throes of grief after the premature death of her parents. In the first episode alone, the series features murder, attempted sexual assault, and depression. The pilot episode of The Vampire Diaries would ultimately only be the tip of the iceberg for some of the darkest material the show would portray during its tenure.
Damon Killing Jeremy Is an Unforgivable Act
Damon's redemption arc takes place over the entirety of The Vampire Diaries and includes some huge setbacks.

That’s as some changes have come to Firehouse 52, with a new chief (Dermot Mulroney‘s Pascal) and an open spot now on Truck (with Michael Bradway’s Damon out). So when will we get answers about Carver and who will fill that spot? TV Insider turned to Lockett for answers. From the moment that Carver came back at the beginning of the season, it is clear that he is going through something. What can you say about what that is? Jack Damon's firing on Chicago Fire opened the door for season 13 to replace Blake Gallo with a beloved character. Damon joined the series after Derrick Gibson unexpectedly left and has been nothing but trouble since. He only lasted as long as he did because of the relationship between Damon and Chicago Fire's Severide, which caused Stella to be reluctant to document his unwillingness to follow her directions out of loyalty to her husband. With the awards race ramping up, and festival favorites emerging, the list of films in the Best Picture Oscar race can seem long, and, this early in the season, distinctly unclear. Fortunately, both Deadline’s Awards Columnist and Chief Film Critic, Pete Hammond, and Film Awards Editor Damon Wise keep on hand an ever-evolving dossier of ones to watch. But then, of course, they don’t always agree. So, we got them together to boil it all down in a back-and-forth: What’s hot, what’s not, and what’s got big-prize potential. Bear in mind, there are, of course, more films yet to come, and for brevity’s sake, not every film with broad Oscar potential could be included in this discussion, but here are Hammond and Wise in conversation about some of the films on their maybe-Best-Picture lists right now. Click on each film’s title to read Deadline’s review.

The Vampire Diaries discussions often revolve around the merits of each pairing. Stefan Salvatore and Caroline Forbes Steroline of The Vampire Diaries cast have garnered significant attention and debate among fans. While their eventual romantic relationship has been a subject of controversy, hints at their connection were laid early in the series.
I particularly enjoy a pivotal episode from season 2, "Bad Moon Rising", which showcases the developing chemistry between Stefan and Caroline. I may not necessarily favor the pairing, but theres no denying that their interactions foreshadow their future relationship and highlight the strengths of their dynamic. However, one harsh reality of watching The Vampire Diaries' early seasons is that the showrunners are testing a lot of things out on audiences, leading to continuity issues later.

Despite winning an Oscar for playing the saddest man in all existence in “Manchester by the Sea,” Casey Affleck’s earlier roles seemed well aware that he could nail the role of an annoying kid brother. One of the best jokes in “Good Will Hunting” is Affleck in the backseat of the car singing, “I wish I had a double burger…” and then he brought that same irritating-yet-endearing energy to the trilogy of “Ocean’s” movies. While Affleck may not be playing a kid brother in his new movie “The Instigators,” it’s the same type of chattering tag-along that works incredibly well for him (and perhaps no surprise that he also co-wrote the script). Paired once again with Matt Damon, the two’s instant chemistry easily carries the film as a breezy watch that for better and worse provides the sense that the stars are making it up as they go along.

All American: Homecoming fans have waited more than a year for the outcome of Simone Hicks’ love triangle — but it only took one hour for Simone’s romance with Damon Sims to flame out.
The All American spinoff returned for its third — and, sadly, final — season on Monday night, leaping forward in time by one year and three months, just as the mothership series did. So, if you were Team Damon heading into Season 3, there’s some comfort in knowing that not only did Simone choose him over Lando, but she and Damon did get to enjoy more than...

Warning: This list contains spoilers for all seasons of The Vampire Diaries.
Damon's extra powers disappear after the Vampire Diaries pilot, representing a plot hole left unaddressed. The unexplained vervain supply causes inconsistencies in the narrative regarding its source and availability. Mystic Falls residents are not treated equally in death, with inconsistencies regarding their resurrection and appearance on the Other Side.
In its eight-season run, The Vampire Diaries introduced many plot elements that came across as contrived if not constituting irresolvable plot holes. Focusing on human teenager Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) as she is drawn into a love triangle with vampire brothers Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder), The Vampire Diaries depicts the exploits of a wide variety of supernatural beings. However, as each season adds to the lore with new characters and new types of magic, some contradictions take shape.

The creation of The Vampire Diaries was unique because the show offered everything -- supernatural fantasy, romance, adventure, suspense, and teen thrills. From werewolves to witches, Tvd had some of the most powerful supernatural creatures, which led to intense fights between factions. This meant that the Tvd characters had to do everything possible to keep themselves alive and to get the upper hand on villains.
While much of the show focused on romance and adventure, there were some very twisted scenes in it. Almost every character lay in a grey area on the morality spectrum, and they weren't afraid of shedding some blood and breaking some codes. Whether it was villainous Damon or good girl Elena, everyone did some deviant things on The Vampire Diaries.

Even the most powerful fires burn out eventually.
And unfortunately, to our immense displeasure, that's exactly what's happening with the fan-favorite series, Station 19.
News of Station 19's cancelation hasn't gone over well, in the least, as the devoted fanbase is still putting up a good fight and making their case for the series to get picked up somewhere, anywhere else.
If you haven't already made your voice heard and participated in #SaveStation19 or signed the petition, you can find it here.
Whether it proves fruitful or not, as bittersweet as it is, we can still show up and show out for the final season of this series as of now.
Every little bit counts!
And from everything expected from Staton 19 Season 7 Episode 1, we're in store for one hell of a ride.

In a year when the Barbenheimer phenomenon dominated the industry, it was Adam Sandler who made the most money among Hollywood A-listers in 2023. The Sandman did not have any theatrical releases in 2023. However, his million-dollar Netflix deal spawned two live-action films and one animated film this year. Along with these movies, Sandler had a busy time doing stand-up comedy shows across the U.S. Adam Sandler earned $73 million from all these projects in 2023.

Matt Damon’s filmography boasts credits that illustrate the actor’s bankable stature. But one endeavor that often gets overlooked, presumably because of the reception it received pre- and post-release, was Zhang Yimou’s The Great Wall. Looking back on the project, the Oppenheimer alum acknowledged discerning early on that the movie may be a disaster. And disaster it was—if you consider its box office performance and critics’ evaluations, at least.
Matt Damon in The Great Wall (2016)
It wasn’t just that, though. Leading up to the film’s release, the implications of Damon’s inclusion in a premise set in medieval China, where he starred as a European mercenary warrior who joins forces with the Chinese to help combat an alien threat, was not treated lightly. Accusations faulted the initiative for utilizing the ‘white savior trope’ and ‘whitewashing.’
Of course, those are arguments that characterize many Hollywood endeavors.

TV characters often undergo surprising transformations throughout a season or series, deviating from the initial impression made on the audience. Character changes can be due to external factors like showrunner decisions or actors' lives apart from the series. Examples include Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl, Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries, and Amity Blight in The Owl House.
Some popular TV characters make a first impression that turns out to be very different from the rest of their character arc. As more details about a character are revealed, and the story itself forces them to adapt, the character evolves into something completely different from what the audience was expecting. Good writers can do this so that the character's first appearance makes sense in the context of their story throughout a season or a series.

Plot: In 1984, Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro (Matt Damon) tries to recruit Michael Jordan as a Hail Mary to save the fledgling basketball shoes division.
Review: Ben Affleck‘s Air allows the director to play to all his strengths as a director and actor. Like Argo, it shines a light on an intriguing event from the eighties, but unlike that film, the stakes here aren’t necessarily life and death. But, if you think the idea of a movie about Michael Jordan being signed to Nike is minor, you’d be wrong, as this is a truly involving, entertaining depiction of everything that went into the landmark deal. And this deal forever changed the way athletes are compensated the world over.
Matt Damon is at his best as the plucky Vaccaro. A passionate devotee of the game, he’s trying to put Nike on the map amongst basketball players at a time when Nike,...

TV ships and couples are some of the most exciting parts of television, but sadly, not every couple is created equal. Writers love to try out new permutations when it comes to love interests in shows, but what sounds good in theory may not translate well on screen. The main reason for this is a lack of chemistry between the pair.

One might not imagine that one of the writers of "The Big Bang Theory" and "Young Sheldon" would be behind one of 2023's most anticipated, high-concept sci-fi shows, but that's exactly the situation we find ourselves in. Hailing from Tara Hernandez, "Mrs. Davis" debuts on Peacock later this month, with Damon Lindelof, of "Lost" and "The Leftovers" fame, serving as co-creator on the series alongside her. Based on the reception coming out of this year's SXSW, it promises to be a wild ride.
The show stars Betty Gilpin ("The Hunt") and focuses on a nun who is making it her mission to destroy the most powerful artificial intelligence in the world. Having seen a couple of episodes, that hardly scratches the surface of just how wild this show is. That scope and ambition on display is probably why the first four episodes are going to debut all at once.

A little over a year after Ben Affleck mused he would never make a theatrically released movie again, and insisting he wanted to focus on non-franchise films for adult audiences, the filmmaker nonetheless enjoyed one of the happiest box office stories of 2023. To be sure, this past holiday weekend was dominated by yet another “IP movie,” as Affleck is wont to say, The Super Mario Bros. Movie. However, in the shadow of that film’s gargantuan $205.5 million across five days, Affleck’s own adult-skewing drama, Air, also dominated the court in its own league, grossing $20.2 million over five days.
Not bad for a movie that’s produced by one of the biggest streamers around, Amazon Studios, and which true to Affleck’s word wasn’t even originally intended to reach the big screen. In fact, Air didn’t pivot to a theatrical release until post-production when Amazon realized how well...

Christmas movies suggest family-friendly, heartwarming tales, designed for peak holiday family moviegoing. And then there’s the other kind — the late-breaking, high-profile, A-list titles designed to hit the box office and Oscar voters’ consciousness. Some of these launched at prestige fall film festivals (“Downsizing,” “Molly’s Game,” “Hostiles,” “Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool”); others are bonafide awards contenders (Steven Spielberg’s “The Post” and Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Phantom Thread”); and some, like Hugh Jackman vanity musical “The Greatest Showman,” will soon skid into either bad reviews or audience reaction, or both.

Back in October, we reported that Fox is developing a new TV series based on the 1987 action classic Lethal Weapon, which Warner Bros. Television is producing.
