Tim Curry has played other aquatic adventurer and/or pirate roles. The Pirates of Dark Water (1991), Disney's Little Mermaid (1992), Muppet Treasure Island (1996), Titanic (1996), McHale's Navy (1997), Pirates of the Plain (1999), and Back to the Sea (2012).
Jason Marsden and Aaron Lohr would later collaborate on Disney's A Goofy Movie (1995). They would both be the voice of Max Goof; with the former being Max's speaking voice and the latter being Max's singing voice. Coincidentally, Disney currently owns the rights to this series.
