- Jerry Merris: Ah, smells like the old government cover-up.
- Carla Sandbourn: Is this actually what you do on your spare time or is this a special occasion?
- Det. Ian McLemore: I don't have any spare time.
- Carla Sandbourn: Oh, twenty four-hour-a-day company man?

- Carla Sandbourn: So this actually means that you were on duty earlier when you were in bed with me?
- Det. Ian McLemore: I would call that working undercover for the Vice Squad.
- Det. Ian McLemore: Call Robertson, have him get some backup down here.
- Carla Sandbourn: I thought you wanted to do this alone.
- Det. Ian McLemore: I do, but somebody's got to come down and clean up the mess 'cause I'm gonna make a big one.
- Carla Sandbourn: Ian, what the hell you running from?
- Det. Ian McLemore: You remember that little creature we saw at Jerry's house?
- Carla Sandbourn: Yeah.
