Wade Robson and James Safechuck, the two men who accused Michael Jackson of sexually abusing them as minors in the bombshell doc Leaving Neverland, look forward to their day in court with apprehension and assurance in a new clip from Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson.
Directed by Dan Reed (who also helmed the original Leaving Neverland), the new film focuses on Robson and Safechuck’s years-long efforts to secure a trial for their lawsuit against Jackson’s companies, which they claim enabled and covered up his years of alleged abuse.

Cassie Ventura’s million-dollar lawsuit against ex-partner P Diddy came as a shock to many. What was even more shocking, however, was the length of the allegations she made against the former music mogul.

In the $30 million lawsuit filed in November 2023, she alleged that the Bad Boy Records founder used to mentally, and physically assault her throughout their relationship. Moreover, she also alleged that Diddy used to coerce her into engaging in se*ual acts she didn’t feel comfortable in.
The record producer denied the claims and expressed through his legal team that the lawsuit was just a ploy to damage his reputation and make some money. Although Cassie Ventura and P Diddy settled the case soon after, it opened the floodgates for the multitude of lawsuits filed against the rapper throughout the following year.

Alex Gibney, the Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker, has attacked the BBC after claiming the British broadcaster rejected his Benjamin Netanyahu exposé The Bibi Files.
The Going Clear director accused the BBC of bending the knee to the Israeli prime minister in its coverage of the war in Gaza.
He produced The Bibi Files, which draws upon leaked videos of the police interrogation of Netanyahu on charges that he accepted gifts worth tens of thousands of dollars in exchange for political favors.
Netanyahu attempted to block the feature’s release, according to the filmmakers, which include director Alexis Bloom (Divide and Conquer: The Story of Roger Ailes).
“BBC won’t show “The Bibi Files” because it is critical of Netanyahu. Israelis in film accuse him of prosecuting an endless brutal war in Gaza to avoid bribery conviction,” Gibney said on X/Twitter. “BBC doesn’t want to allow that Pov on TV.

Exclusive: In the immediate aftermath of October 7, Oscar-nominee Dror Moreh and producer Uri Shinar started working on a documentary that would show how everyday Israelis were transformed into “a collage of heroes” in the space of just a few hours.
On the anniversary of that fateful day, Deadline can reveal Even the Walls Cry, a feature almost solely created by volunteers that Fremantle has backed and will be selling at next month’s MIPCOM Cannes.
October 7 was one of the deadliest days of fighting ever in Israel, with around 1,200 people killed after Hamas launched its attack and 250 taken hostage – many of whom have either died in captivity or not yet released. By October 9, Shinar had “asked myself where I should be” and headed to a headquarters for hostages’ families, which had been set up by some friends.

"Batman: The Animated Series" wound up being as definitive an account of the Dark Knight as its title suggested. So when a new Batman cartoon finally came afterwards, it was destined to never escape the shadow of "Btas." But "The Batman" (which aired from 2004 to 2008) made a noble effort and remains one of the more unique spins on the Caped Crusader.
"The Batman," developed by Michael Goguen and Duane Capizzi, was the first animated Batman in 12 years that was unconnected to the DC Animated Universe (The shared setting that began with "Batman: The Animated Series" and concluded with "Justice League Unlimited").
Bruce Wayne in "The Batman" was voiced by Rino Romano, and Joker by Kevin Michael Richardson, rather than the beloved Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as the Joker duo. Bruce Timm modeled "Batman: The Animated Series" on the Fleischer Studios Superman cartoons, while Jeff Matsuda gave Gotham City an anime makeover.

[This story includes spoilers for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.]
Clocking in at just under two minutes, the involuntary calypso dance sequence in the original Beetlejuice, during which Catherine O’Hara’s Delia Deetz leads her dinner guests in a lip sync of Harry Belafonte’s “Day-o,” is arguably the most famous scene from the 1988 film. An homage in the sequel was always a given.
But, for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, director Tim Burton wanted to go even harder. The film’s climax includes another dance number — this one set to all seven minutes and 21 seconds of Richard Harris’ bonkers and much covered “MacArthur Park.” (Donna Summer’s disco-fied version spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the fall of 1978.) It isn’t just another needle drop. It practically drives the narrative of the entire third act.
Screenwriters Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, no strangers to the Burton-verse with their massive hit Netflix series Wednesday, spoke with...

Plenty of bananas and a gruesomely gorgeous wedding cake get praise in musical moments in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Several 80s artists like Donna Summer, Jimmy Buffet and The Bee Gees have songs featured in the film, which is a followup to the 1988 original starring Michael Keaton as the ghost with the most, Winona Ryder as goth girl Lydia Deetz and Catherine O’Hara as Lydia’s stepmother Delia Deetz.
Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega joins the sequel in addition to other newcomers, and she has another fun dance moment set to one of the songs in the film’s soundtrack below. A choir sings a beautiful rendition of “Day-o” which can be heard in the film’s trailer. Of course, there wouldn’t be a musical dance moment — or more — without some possessed bodies and souls. The Afterlife provides ample opportunity to feature more genre songs from the 80s, as...

The path to finally getting a “Beetlejuice” sequel off the ground started on the set of the Netflix series “Wednesday.”
“Wednesday” creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar would meet with Tim Burton, the show’s executive producer and the director of the first half of the season, every morning during production. They would go over the scenes that were supposed to be shot that day, just to talk them through. But then they got a text one day from Burton. He wanted to meet them after the shooting day had wrapped.
“We thought something was wrong,” Gough admitted in an interview with TheWrap.
But something wasn’t wrong. Instead, Burton wanted to talk to them about something – a sequel to his 1988 hit “Beetlejuice.”
“He basically said, ‘Beetlejuice is the movie that everybody asks for a sequel to,’” Gough said. Burton, at the time, had been talking to original...

Warning: Spoilers for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024) are ahead!
The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice soundtrack includes entertaining songs that help shape the zany and adventurous storyline. The long-awaited sequel revisits Lydia Deetz and her daughter Astrid, who come together with Delia Deetz when Charles Deetz dies. However, things go sideways when the ghost with the most starts making contact with Lydia. Beetlejuice 2s reviews have been overwhelmingly positive due to the movies emotional depth, compelling performances, and striking visuals.
However, one incredible part of the movie that hasnt gained enough attention and praise is the music. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice includes an entertaining soundtrack and score, which helps shape the storyline. The soundtrack perfectly blends together the ballad, funk, and singer-songwriter genres; meanwhile, the score fits perfectly with the original Beetlejuices music. Ultimately, the music elevates Beetlejuice 2 to a whole other level.

Plot: After the death of her father, Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder) returns to her family home in Winter River with her daughter, Astrid (Jenna Ortega) and stepmother, Delia (Catherine O’Hara), in tow. Once there, she becomes plagued by visions of a certain “ghost with the most,” who has problems of his own.
Review: For a while there, you couldn’t have been blamed for thinking Tim Burton had maybe lost a bit of his touch. He had a long run of mediocre movies that climaxed with Dumbo, a movie the director hated so much it almost made him quit the business. However, watching Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, it can’t be denied that returning to his old stomping grounds by making a sequel to his first mega-hit, Beetlejuice, might have been just what the doctor ordered, with it his most energetic, playful, and creative film in years.

There’s an inventive sequence early in the unexpectedly delightful Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in which the Bee Gees’ “Tragedy” accompanies Monica Bellucci’s soul-sucking demoness as her hacked up body parts are shaken loose from crates in the afterlife’s lost-and-found warehouse, where she proceeds to stitch herself back together like a gorgeous DIY Frankenstein monster. That scene multitasks as a show of kinship with the same actor’s role as a vampire bride in Bram Stoker’s Dracula; a tribute from Tim Burton to a key Gothic literature inspiration; and a darkly delicious valentine to the director’s offscreen partner of the past two years.
One of many inspired set-pieces in a clever sequel laced with hilarious callbacks to the 1988 original and amusingly eclectic pop-culture references to everything from Carrie to Mario Bava, from Soul Train to Donna Summer, it’s not the only time during the movie that I scrawled,...

Back in 1988, “Beetlejuice” was a comedy, a ghost story, a high-camp horror film, and a macabre funhouse ride, all driven by a new kind of palm-buzzer freak-show prankishness. I first saw the movie at a Saturday-night sneak preview, before anyone knew a thing about it, and by the time it was over it was clear that the director, Tim Burton, was going to be a superstar who ruled over his own weirdly ardent world of ghoulish mockery.
Burton, at 26, had already directed “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure,” but “Beetlejuice,” though in some ways a ramshackle cartoon of a movie, had a force at work in it. You might say that “Beetlejuice” was a vibe. The vision of the afterlife as a waiting room of wax-museum horrors; the moment when those shrimp leapt off the plate in the spectacular “Day-o” musical demonic-possession sequence; and Michael Keaton’s feral, jabbering, Groucho-Marx-meets-oozing-derelict performance as Beetlejuice...

HBO surprised viewers with a first look at its newest Westeros-set series “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight” during the Season 2 finale of “House of the Dragon” last month. The teaser offered fans their first glimpse of the show’s leads Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell in action as Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s beloved “Dunk and Egg” novellas, the series will follow the adventures of hedge knight Dunk and his secret royal squire 89 years prior to the events of “Game of Thrones.” British actors Claffey and Ansell have been cast in the pivotal roles.

The video game adaptation Five Nights at Freddy’s (read our review Here) quickly became Blumhouse Productions’ highest-grossing movie when it reached theatres and the Peacock streaming service back in October, surpassing the likes of Split, The Invisible Man, The Black Phone, M3GAN, the recent Halloween sequel trilogy, and the Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and The Purge franchises with its haul of $295 million. So, of course, there’s a sequel coming our way, aiming for a December 5, 2025 theatrical release… and returning cast member Matthew Lillard has just confirmed that filming begins this October!
Lillard provided the production update during an interview on the JayBee & Milly YouTube channel, where he happened to mention, “I’m doing Fnaf in October.”
Five Nights at Freddy’s stars Lillard alongside Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games), Mary Stuart Masterson (Benny & Joon), Elizabeth Lail (You), Piper Rubio (Holly & Ivy), and Kat Conner Sterling (A Week Away). The...

‘General Hospital’ (Gh) spoilers confirm that the door is shut for Michael Easton’s return to the show as Hamilton Finn. “I think there was a finality to my exit, and there was finality for me to it, too,” Easton said about a potential return in a recent interview.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Finn May Have an Accident On His Way Home From Rehab
Finn’s stint in rehab is supposed to last only three months, but if Easton isn’t coming back, what does that mean for Finn? Unfortunately, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) may lose her dad after losing her grandpa.
It’s a harsh reality for such a sweet little girl, but the writers need to explain Finn’s exit in a way that makes sense. It would never make sense for Finn to leave Violet and never return.
Violet is enjoying her summer stay at the Quartermaine mansion.

L.A. surf-punks Fidlar are back with two new singles, “Fix Me” and “Get Off My Wave,” from their upcoming first album in five years, Surviving the Dream, out Sept. 20.
Lead single “Fix Me” is a blast of raw vulnerability that puts all the emotional cards on the table, while “Get Off My Wave” is a smirking, brash track about selfishness, self-awareness, and self-destruction. “We picked these two songs to lead off the record because it represents the energy we pull off live,” Fidlar frontman Zac Carper said in a statement.

The creation of Pop-Tarts in Unfrosted left out important events like the addition of frosting and sprinkles in later years. Real-life figures like John F. Kennedy, Thurl Ravenscroft, and Andy Warhol had interesting events happen post-Unfrosted release. The movie featured historical nods like the moon landing and pop culture references, making it a mix of fact and fiction.
The latest Jerry Seinfeld movie, Unfrosted, told the story of the creation of the Pop-Tart and the feud between the cereal companies Kelloggs and Post that led to its creation. While Unfrosted was a highly fictionalized account of the story, it also featured many real people and events that continued to have highly interesting consequences well after the credits rolled. As a movie packed with cultural and social allusions, hilarious anecdotes about historical moments, and even funny cameos from iconic characters, many fascinating real-life events occurred after the end of Unfrosted.

Lifetime has released a trailer for the docuseries (below), which features her three sisters — Denise, Dominique and Tanya Brown — speaking about Nicole, the ex-wife of O.J. For years, people have “heard grumblings and whispers” — as #MeToo founder Tarana Burke puts it — about the questionable behavior of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“But I think the question,” Burke adds, “was there ever going to be any level of accountability?”
Five months ago, Combs’ life dramatically changed. Singer Cassie, the music mogul’s former partner and a recording artist, sued him for sexual assault and said he repeatedly raped and physically abused her for nearly a decade; they reached a settlement two days later. But subsequent lawsuits from more women followed with claims of rape and sexual assault, and in February producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones — who worked on Combs’ recent Grammy-nominated album — accused the entrepreneur of harassing and trafficking him. Christian Combs, the entertainer’s 26-year-old son, has been accused of sex assault in a lawsuit filed this week that also listed 54-year-old Combs as a defendant, multiple outlets reported.

Blumhouse Productions has been one of the biggest names in horror for several years now, putting out movies like The Invisible Man, The Black Phone, M3GAN, the recent Halloween sequel trilogy, and the Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and The Purge franchises, among many others. October 6th saw the theatrical release of their Exorcist sequel The Exorcist: Believer, which is meant to be the first entry in a trilogy… and the poor reception that movie got from movie-goers and critics alike wasn’t exactly what Universal and Peacock were hoping for when they forked over around $400 million for the rights to distribute that trilogy. But Blumhouse’s luck turned around three weeks later. That’s when their video game adaptation Five Nights at Freddy’s (read our review Here) reached theatres – and that movie has officially become their highest-grossing production!

Leave your preconceived notions about wrestling at the door. That’s what the cast of A24’s latest drama The Iron Claw emphasized today during the film’s post-premiere press conference in Dallas, TX.
“It’s like dance, gymnastics, combat sports… so many different things,” Jeremy Allen White, one of the film’s ensemble stars said to a packed ballroom of journalists at the glitzy Ritz Carlton Hotel downtown this morning.
The film centers on the famed (and ultimately tragic) story of the Von Erich brothers, who took their unique talents from their hometown of Denton, to the world wrestling stage, in time creating the notorious The Iron Claw move that wowed the sport in the ‘80s.
On why he felt it was the right story to bring to the big screen, writer/director/producer Sean Durkin said, “I’ve been a fan of [wrestling] since I was a kid, and...

Saturday Night Live departed from its usual cold open with a heartfelt message from Pete Davidson about Israel’s war with Hamas.
Davidson opened by discussing the “horrible images” from Israel and Gaza and related it to his own tragedy, of losing his father when he was a child on 9/11 – Davidson’s father, Scott Davidson, was a New York City firefighter who was killed at the World Trade Center.
“I know what you’re thinking, who better to comment on it than Pete Davidson? Well, in a lot of ways, I am a good person to talk about it because when I was seven years old my dad was killed in a terrorist attack. So, I know something about what that’s like.”
He pointed to the “terrible pictures” of children suffering this week and said “no one in this world deserves to suffer like that”.

Tragedy Man, the acclaimed horror anthology written by Anthony M. Caro, is now available on Amazon Kindle.
Five Actors. Five Auditions. Five Tales of Terror.
Inspired by classic horror anthologies, Tragedy Man’s story arc involves five actors chasing fame in early 1970s New York. An audition for an improv gig at a rundown New Jersey theater finds them improvising tragedies that turn into unexpected – and tragic -horror tales.
How far will a down-on-his-luck actor-musician go to get a pawned scooter back? What is the secret behind the living vines stalking a former film star in a flower shop? Why does a train-traveling comic’s audience go to enormous lengths to hide their identity? Can a reluctant adult film performer’s murderous rampage clean up Times Square? Is a chance at theatrical stardom worth a game show host’s soul?
