Tires don't squeal "JUST" because of braking. Tires also squeal from a loss of grip on a paved road. So the above mentioned goof is only a partial goof, especially since tires squealing on dirt or gravel roads is one of the most overdone "goofs" of movies & TV shows made during this period.
When Tiger's car is descending the mountain road, the tires squeal as he rounds the corners. However, tires don't squeal like that on dirt roads, and his brake lines have been cut, so the tires shouldn't be squealing at all because he can't be braking.
