Based in 1980s London; this follows the relationship between a father and daughter, and how they navigate a teenage daughter growing up, as well as a father trying to negotiate his way in his own life, with the support of their family and friends. Brilliant cast. Excelllent acting from Joanne Ridley, Joan Sanderson, Richard O'Sullivan, Joanne Campbell Tim Brooke-Taylor and Sandra Clark. I feel Rosie-9 has uploaded an excellent review of this show.
If you're looking for something terribly nice to watch, with dated humour, and absolute silliness, then this is worth your time. Sometimes you just need something pleasant to watch to make the world a brighter place.
