This is nothing more than a copycat film. When Halloween came out in 1978, it was all the rage in horror movies. For this cheap thing, it's all a laugh. Made in South Africa, "The Demon" is but fun and games. A fiendish individual has broke into a house, attacked the sitter and kidnapped a girl. The parents would get help from a retired USMC Colonel who has ESP, tries his best to find the killer and the daughter. Knowing that the daughter has been killed, the father would try to e avenge, only to meet his end to the killer.
The plot is weak, the result is common. This movie could have used more action to the film. I wanted more impact. All the skin in the world could not save this movie.
Not exciting enough to make it a gem. Didn't have the shine to call it a cult classic. It didn't send me, one bit!
