Atlus' dark RPG series is headed to the big screen in Japan as a feature for Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 gets the greenlight.
At the conclusion of the recent animated feature Persona 4 The Animation -The Factor of Hope, Atlus teased an upcoming feature based on Persona 3, according to a post by the Anime News Network.
The attached studio, talent, release date, or even if it will be live-action or animated remains to be seen, but the safe bet is probably on anime given that the teaser involved an animated version of the silent Persona 3 protagonist holding a gun to his head, pulling the trigger, and announcing the feature had been greenlit.
