¨Crimen-imperfecto¨ is a passable and acceptable detective comedia in which the two main protagonists shine. A crazy pop comedy, directed and starring Fernando Fernán Gómez, along with José Luis López Vázquez, in an unacknowledged adaptation of Mortadelo y Filemón. It tells the story of two detectives, Salomón and Torcuato, specialists in premarital matters who become involved in a plot to steal funds from a company. The conspiracy ends up becoming entangled with murders, deceptions and unexpected events. It is very agile and fun film in which an endless number of things happen, although few are really funny, and they are slapstick, irony, parody and even surreal jokes profusely. Written by Fernando Fernán Gómez and produced by Pedro Masó, it is much closer to the many films Masó produced as a producer than to the best ones directed by Fernán Gómez. Inspired by Francisco Ibañez's comic books story: Mortadelo and Filemón, it places its possible appeal in the obsession of the peculiar starring couple in dressing up as both hippies and nurses and in giving the production a false modern style, based on flashbacks and more or less psychedelic dances, together with attractive set pieces referencing silent cinema and slapstick. From the context, various parodies are also developed in which madness, silliness as well as pop art aesthetics, and comic books images predominate. As usual, one of the main distractions of the film is discovering which notable secondary characters will appear in the next sequence and also showing up future promises that will develop important movie careers, including the following : Rosanna Yanni whose sensuality is really expressed as the leader of a peculiar gang of criminals and is attempted to a lesser extent with the secretary Pepita, who's nothing more nor less than Bárbara Rey credited with the name of María Graciela; furthermore, Jesús Guzmán recently deceased at 97, veteran George Rigaud, Jesús Puente, Gogó Rojo, Doris Coll, Valeriano Andrés , Ricardo Merino, María Elena Arpón , Beni Deus, Marcelo Arroita-Jáuregui, Álvaro de Luna , Félix Dafauce, among others.
The motion picture was amusingly directed by Fernando Fernán Gómez who appeared in more than 200 films, directed another 20 and wrote novels , plays and poetry . The son of theater actress 'Carola Fernan Gomez' and actor Luis Fernando Diaz de Mendoza, who were not married. It was Fernando's paternal grandmother, actress María Guerrero (1867-1938), who ultimately prevented the marriage between his parents. Born in Lima, Peru during a tour by his actress mother Carola Fernan Gomez, theater was his life from Day 1. His birth was registered in Buenos Aires and Fernan Gomez kept Argentine nationality until the 1980s although he spent most of his life in Spain. Known for his booming voice, stern and imposing physical presence and sometimes irascible temper. He was a member of the Spanish Royal Academy and one of the best actors of the film history . Along with Icíar Bollaín , he's the only person to have been nominated as performer (El Abuelo (1998), director (El Viaje a Ninguna Parte (1986) and writer (Lázaro De Tormes (2001) for three different movies at the Goya awards . He actually won in every category at least once . This prolific and prestigious actor also directed a few films , such as : ¨Lazaro De Tormes¨ , ¨Fuera De Juego ¨, ¨Mambrú Se Fue a La Guerra¨ , ¨5 Tenedores¨ , ¨5.000 Dias Juntos¨ , ¨Ninette¨ , ¨Venganza De Don Mendo¨ , ¨El Extraño Viaje¨ that is today deemed a real ¨Cult Movie¨ and his greatest success ¨Viaje a Ninguna Parte¨ .
